Ebay seller spx_toys has put up an auction for a fully colored (as opposed to the clear plastic for the roof and trunk area) test shot of Alternators Jaguar XK Ravage. I like it! It's a shame that Alternators has to end. Hopefully Hasbro will decide to bring it back after the movie and stuff.

at first i thought this was just stupid and pointless, but the thing is growing on me. and since i didn't buy tfirst alt ravage, since i thought it was just stupid, i'll probably buy this one, if i can find it

Why Alternators has to end? It´s because Hasbro´s contract with Takara for this line shall not be updated? By the way, Takara will go on with Binaltech line, That´s sure.
That Ravage figure is very good. In the fact, only has been a single binaltech model that I don´t like, That barrel-chest Prowl, I prefer Autorooper as police car.. It´s simply more dinamic and elegant

Still objecting his new alt mode (I can' hardly decide wht alt is best for him besides a tape) but at least the robot mode is more fitting to him than the previous one (which was cool and everything but hard to assimilate).

If you know contractual ins and outs of what's going on your a step ahead of most of us- but to the casual bystander it certainly looked like the Binaltech line died before the alt line did.
One could argue kiss players is still going- but since the next expected releases in that line are repaints of ravage and ?lazerbeak? cassettes, I'd say it's very hard to know if more original figures will come out of that line or not.
