Transformers More Than Meets The Eye "Shadowplay" Roller Design By Alex Milne
Jack - Tuesday, October 30, 2012

Comic artist Alex Milne has stopped by Full Metal Hero to share an exclusive look at his design for Roller as he appears in More Than Meets the Eye. Be sure to take a look at the MTMTE #10 Preview for the comic book that will be released tomorrow online and at local comic shops. Check out the More Than Meets The Eye "Shadowplay" Roller Design By Alex Milne below for the full reveal.
Since this book will be out tomorrow, and the preview is already up online I thought I would just share this design of Roller with you.

it was a lot of fun to come up with his look for issue 10 of MTMTE. When going over what he should look like with James, he mentioned he wanted him to transform into a prisoner transport. With that in mind I started to really think about how big he should be. Finally I decided that he needed to be bigger then Orion Pax. He has a few similar design aspect as pax has. I wanted that since they are a team/partners at the police station.

Well, I must get back to MTMTE, enjoy

It's a good day for artistic endeavors by Transformers fans! Tonight we have a batch of photos to bring you from Alvaro Valdivieso Paredes, who's gone to Facebook posting his custom built Autobot starship Ark as seen in the G1 cartoon. Though this one might take some cues from the mild redesign it had for its appearance in Beast Wars rather than being strictly original-cartoon-derived. Though no distinct scale is given, seeing the real estate it occupies on tabletops helps give a sense of its bulk. While it may not be the biggest ever, it's no less impressive, and you can keep reading to see it in full!
It's certainly not a new thing - Transformers fans wanting to represent a favorite character can and do show remarkable talent in recreating robots in costume form. And so it was with Anthony Darkenstein (I so hope that's his real last name) who created a fantastic costume of G1 Galvatron to wear around the Calgary Expo that took place this weekend. This skillful effort was rewarded as he managed to turn heads not just at the show, but all over the internet as photos of him made their way around social media. We've collected a few of them, so keep reading to have a look for yourself!
30 years ago, you may have had a G1 Grimlock under your Christmas tree. But this July, Hallmark is offering the next-best thing: a G1 Grimlock in Dino Mode to hang on your Christmas tree! He'll run you $16 for a fairly compact, non-transforming Dinobot. Keep reading for more details!
An enterprising fan in China has apparently decided to take it upon himself to add a Metroplex of appropriate scale to help display his collection. We don't know the name of the builder (but if you do please let us know!) but these photos show some impressive building work, starting with a metal frame. One image even suggests it's designed to lay down for the battlestation/ship mode, though that's not depicted in the finished image. Despite being taller than a human, it seems this is still not quite big enough, being shown with Smallest Transformers. But it's still super impressive building! Keep reading to see the pictures!
The Hollywood Reporter has posted a story on the Hasbro Cinematic Universe writer's room, which will be getting underway shortly! It's headed, once again, by Akiva Goldsman (Batman & Robin, Batman Forever, The Da Vinci Code) with such noteworthy authors as Michael Chabon (The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay) and Bryan K. Vaughan (Runaways, Saga). Keep reading for the full roster!
