Hisashi Yuki must be proud of Star Saber or something, because he just can't stop tweeting photos of the hand-painted color prototype piece! This latest effort to make us all extremely sad that it's not March 2015 already doesn't give us anything new about the toy itself, but we get to have another look at the design details and see the toy in a generic hero-style pose. Has Yuki-san's photo barrage convinced you to place a preorder yet? My resistance is sure getting thin...

new image of MP-24 Star Saber, this time in full color. He's shown demonstrating his ability to hold his greatsword with both hands, as was done once before in grayscale. Keep reading to see the photo!
Hisashi Yuki is determined to make the next six months as difficult as possible, and has continued tweeting pictures of the color prototype of MP-24 Star Saber. Seen now in its fully combined robot mode, the pictures show off the figure's articulation, including double-handing its sword, and the accessory shield Star Saber will come with. While it can be argued that at least most third parties are taking Hasbro and TakaraTomy's IP and making something new with it, then there's the murkier realm of flat-out knockoffs of existing products. Reports are coming in that such a product is on the horizon: an upscaled knockoff of MP-08 Grimlock. Coming in at 29.5 centimeters, or ever so slightly shy of a foot tall, Robot Kingdom says they will not be carrying this figure but brings you the photos for educational purposes. Amazon Japan has added some new images to their page for MP-22 Wheeljack, including the card that the figure will come with, what appears to be a functional missile launcher, and a shot of the box.
