Yeah I am pretty sure they will include them and be removeable since MP SS and RA both had removeble ones as well. I was sad to see you will sell your BT and Alternators....those are what got be back into TFs.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the classics line used the shoulder missiles just so that way they could just reuse the mold and repaint it to bluestreak. I was one when the cartoon came out and can still remember having a Prowl and always wondering why it came with missiles on the shoulder when he didn&#... read more

Well the classics line is what comes to my mind and why I posed the question. I know the G1 toy did, but I don't think i really paid much attention to the cartoon variance. I would expect that he would come with them, but they be removable. I guess we'll soon find out.

I'm pretty sure these MPs are actually trying to capture the spirit of the cartoon, not the original toys. Hence the reason why they are being scaled the way they are.

I doubt that the missile launchers would be permanently attached to Prowl. Masterpiece Transformers tend to represent the original toy as much as, or even more than, the cartoon appearance of the characters.

Prowl's G1 toy did come with missiles, which these MPs are trying to capture the spirit of.

Prowl better not come with missiles on his shoulders. Because in the G1 cartoon Prowl did not have shoulder Missiles. BlueStreak and smokescreen did however. That's how in season one prowl and BlueStreak looked different, besides color of course.

This is just a teaser, so I'm assuming that he'll come with them. They've been pretty accurate this far with the MP line.

More MasterPiece News
At Wonderfest this summer, Cheetor was obviously the bigger show of the Masterpieces. But G1 was represented too, albeit just by the grey prototype of Inferno and a finished Delta Magnus. Autobase Aichi grabbed a few pictures of their display case, giving us an especially good look at Delta Magnus, and a close up of its alternate faces. If you want to check out the upcoming entires in the G1 MP run, keep reading for the mirrored photos!
Winderfest comes and goes very quickly, so we've gone out to round up coverage of the Transformers merchandise that was on display. First up from a few sources we have nice pictures of Masterpiece Cheetor, including some closeups on the accessory tray showing just how show accurate the option faces - both beast and bot -really are to the show design. And it turns out a finished Optimus Primal was on display too, even if it got little attention. Click through for mirrored photos!
Very quickly after its US retail debut at San Diego Comic Con, Toys R Us has already opened up Masterpiece Bumblebee (and Spike) for purchase on their website. Coming in at a price of $64.99, it's a little less offputting than the converted Canadian Toys R Us price, but like most all Hasbro released MP Autobot Cars, still coming in higher than the original Japanese pricing. There's no telling how long this will stay in stock as previous launches like this have sold through pretty fast, so get on it while you can! Find the link in the full post below.
Less of a revelation than the color photos of MP Cheetor, fans will be happy to see some new looks at the grey prototype for Masterpiece Inferno, and in the same display case, the full color Delta Magnus recolor of Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. It is a little surprising to not see the color copy of Inferno, which has previously appeared just recently, but it's good to see the figure in some dynamic poses just the same! Click through to see the mirrored photos from the 52Toys Weibo page.
Hot on the heels of San Diego Comic Con, the summer Wonderfest has begun in Japan, and has already delivered its first major piece of news! From the Weibo page of 52Toys, we have our first look at a color prototype of Masterpiece Cheetor. While only the robot mode model is seen in color today, it demonstrates a really nice looking finish that's very accurate to the CG cartoon model. We've got the photos mirrored, so keep reading to take a look. And stay tuned for further reveals from Wonderfest!
