Yeah I am pretty sure they will include them and be removeable since MP SS and RA both had removeble ones as well. I was sad to see you will sell your BT and Alternators....those are what got be back into TFs.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the classics line used the shoulder missiles just so that way they could just reuse the mold and repaint it to bluestreak. I was one when the cartoon came out and can still remember having a Prowl and always wondering why it came with missiles on the shoulder when he didn&#... read more

Well the classics line is what comes to my mind and why I posed the question. I know the G1 toy did, but I don't think i really paid much attention to the cartoon variance. I would expect that he would come with them, but they be removable. I guess we'll soon find out.

I'm pretty sure these MPs are actually trying to capture the spirit of the cartoon, not the original toys. Hence the reason why they are being scaled the way they are.

I doubt that the missile launchers would be permanently attached to Prowl. Masterpiece Transformers tend to represent the original toy as much as, or even more than, the cartoon appearance of the characters.

Prowl's G1 toy did come with missiles, which these MPs are trying to capture the spirit of.

Prowl better not come with missiles on his shoulders. Because in the G1 cartoon Prowl did not have shoulder Missiles. BlueStreak and smokescreen did however. That's how in season one prowl and BlueStreak looked different, besides color of course.

This is just a teaser, so I'm assuming that he'll come with them. They've been pretty accurate this far with the MP line.

More MasterPiece News
About a month ago we were the first to bring you word via Dengeki Hobby that Masterpiece Cheetor's release date had been pushed back from its planned January date in to February. In the time since, retail websites have begun to reflect this change, and through TakaraTomy Mall, we now have the new Japanese release date to share. Stores in Japan will start selling MP-34 Cheetor in Saturday, February 25th. Whether the mainland Asia release will occur on the same day or possibly be a little earlier as has happened in the past when Japanese release dates have been delayed is currently unknown.
TakaraTomy's Twitter account has shared a pair of photos highlighting the upcoming (relatively speaking) release of Masterpiece Dirge, showing off it as well as the prior two conehead seekers together as a group in robot and vehicle modes. Through less than proper means this isn't exactly the first good look we've had at Dirge with the rest of the set, but this focus does help to show again how the three will work together for display in either form. You can check out the photos mirrored below.
From the early 2017 installment of the Hero-X Generations book, we saw pages talking in detail about MP-36 Megatron, both the prototype toy itself, as well as a few pages of sketches and design concepts. But it was all in Japanese and of little help to most of us elsewhere in the world. But now thanks to the translation efforts of Deruji, as requested by Liampope, an English edition is now available for all to read! Offering inisghts to how it transforms, the functions of the electronics, visual design ideals and more, there's a lot to see! We have the translated pages mirrored, so keep reading to learn more!
Dengeki Hobby has posted a set of images of MP-38! The curiously named "Legendary Supreme Commander" version of Beast Wars Optimus Primal is revealed to be a reuse of the Masterpiece mold bearing the colors of the original Ultra-class toy with a couple new accessories - one of which is the original's Mutant Mask! The figure is priced at 12,000 Yen and scheduled for release in June. Keep reading to see!
TFSource have opened preorders for the MP-38 Masterpiece Convoy Beast Wars Supreme Commander Version. Takara says this is to be a beast wars figure and same price as MP-32 Beast Convoy so likely a recolor remold of some kind. We can only speculate what figure they will base off the mold until we know more.
