Now that Armada is coming to end are we going to have to suffer through it for the next few years? DW please, Beast Wars next. Not this! May the gods hear my plea.

At least there aren't as many characters in Armada - not counting Mini-Cons, of course... Yeah, I agree they need to do Beast Wars immediately afterward...

I thought they were going to do BW/BM first, but I guess they changed their minds, maybe because armada does have less characters, besides even if they do the mini-cons some will probably be added to their partner transformer and the rest will probably be listed in the teams as they were released in the toys, if they dont do the mini-cons, they will probably still do the ones that form Perceptor at least, since they were main characters in the show and comics....but I guess we will have to wait to see what they really do.

My guess is they are doing Armada/Energon next because for them it's less complicated.

The Beast era has ties to both the G1 cartoon and the G2 comic that would need to be sorted out in the new continuity.

Plus who do you include in this volume? Just the show characters? Do you cannonize Primal Prime and his Wrecker story by including them as well?

So while I too would rather have seen BW/M done, I can understand their possible reasons for putting that off a while.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. Currently, Dreamwave only has two Transformers-related projects going:
- G1
- Armada
(Not counting vs. GI Joe and War Within, of course; the former an alternate universe, the latter incorporated within G1 MTMTE.)
It would be a great idea for Dreamwave to do a Beast Wars comic series, and a profile series once it's over and done, but not until DW decides who and what all the characters are, how they respond to each other, motivations, personalities, etc. We don't want DW simply rehashing the CGI cartoon, now do we? (Another plus for Armada: We WILL see Unicron in robot mode.)

i don't like the beast wars/machines cause i believe that it's about vehicles and weapons like in G1 continuity any way who wants to here MAXIMALS MAXIMIZE! the whole concept is stupid why should they have to announce transforming into the alternate mode in G1 they were told too transform but didn't annouce it every time they did it and the whole minicon thing stinks little transformers are fine but not when they talk like R2-D2 on the cartoon here's an original concept why don't they do a new G1 cartoon they could even do the computer animation if they wanted to maybe even one that takes place on cybertron before they arrive on earth or after the original show ended or just redo it all together with new stories but keep the same charaters who wants to see wheeljack as a decepticon? or laserbeak as a autobot?and what about soundwave and the cassettes where are they?animal transformers work but to do a whole show about them doesn't i love the dinobots and such but optimus prime as a monkey gimmie a break and the head/target/power master was cool but not when every transformer has a little "buddy" i can see them pakaging little robots with big ones but they don't have to be used with them it shold be more of a premium buy not to get special features out of the big ones the concept is cool but not nesessary for every charater and why is arcee a motorcycle and not the car that's a mistake in it's self and WHY in the blue hell does unicron need a minicon? i'm sorry if i'm rambling but i can't be the only one thinking about this

i just saw the new armada show "chase" and it was a classic that saw starscream die by unicron it is episodes like this that we need more of there was very little in the way of minicons except the star-saber it was a classic hope they keep up the good work on the final episodes of armada and continue with it in energon

Bring in the Japanese G1 characters?! They did not include it in the first eight issues of the Profile book, and it means its not even complete.

Beast Wars will have to wait bring in Star Saber, God Ginrai, Overlord, Dia Atlas, Sonic Bomber, and the rest of the REAL DEAL. It ain't Generation One without these guys.

American series sucks... Japanese G1 is the true Transformers series and it rocks!!!!
