NEST Slap Dash, Trenchmouth, Beachcomber & Deadlift Gift Sets Exposed

By MISP Steve on Saturday, November 07, 2009

Sorry, no Spoons for you! The Arker has posted new images of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen scout class action figures. Thanks to the new images we have details and names of these new items that will be offered as yet more Autobot versus Decepticon N.E.S.T. Global Alliance gift sets.

Check out the images and summaries for the Slap Dash vs Trenchmouth "Windy City Chase" set and the Beachcomber vs Deadlift's "Road Rival Showdown" sets below.

Everything Slap Dash does, he does in a hurry. Not because he's fast - though he is - but more because he's lazy. Careful planning just isn't his thing. Unfortunately, Trenchmouth is not the sort of Decepticon you want to fight without some foresight. He may be a filthy, poorly tuned road hog, but he's also a smart, canny fighter.

There was a time when neither Beachcomber nor Deadlift were interested in warfare. Beachcomber spent his time exploring the barren wilderness of remote planets, while Deadlift enjoyed the function of transporting deactivated Decepticons to the smelting pools for repurposing. Now, however, the war has drawn both of them into its grip, and the two find themselves in a close-quarters fight to the finish.

I prefer Deadlift's deco to Dirt Boss'. Same thing for Beachcomber, I like him better then Dune Runner. Ill get that set since I skipped out on Dirt Boss and Dune Runner the first time around.

Hmmm...are these supposed to be store exclusives? They almost look like some sort of Black Friday value pack...but usually when they do that, the figures aren't any kind of repaints...just repackaged old deco toys...hmmm. Interesting.

Trenchmouth? Really? Geeez. Here are my Decepticon companions "Scurvy" and "Gingivitis".

I don't think these will inclide Ravage stickers. Normaly the box gives an indication. The could very well be a Black Friday promotion (I have court 3 times that week?). As for the names, again, I'm sure they just have a bunch on a board and are throwing darts. Especialy concerning the for... read more

So, Hasbro names the first forklift after a vacuum cleaner and the second after a weight-lifting term? And what's the deal with "Trenchmouth"? Okay, he's a Decepticon, but does he have to be named after a disease common to WWI soldiers?

I wonder if these sets will include a sticker to get ravage.... Moreover I wonder if we will see these on or before black friday
