Bought Ultra Magnus online as it was about the same price as he would have been locally. He is a really nice figure (with a few drawbacks) and definetely worth $40. This new version however is not. The colors are ok but like everyone said, the blue should have been changed! |

How can this figure manage to irk so many fans? 1/ Classics Universe Roadbuster is out
2/ The original G1 isnt that hard to get
3/ Animated is all about the show characters and not tertiary ones (that, after all, is what Universe is all about)

Hmmm... the original is better. And I agree with everyone else that Magnus is hard to find. I found him in my area on a fluke at 6:30 in the morning at a store I don't normally go to regularly. These Leader Class repaints are a BIG pass for me, and I will agree... this one would be a lot better without the blue (did they have a bunch of extra parts from Magnus that they needed to get rid of or something?). Now when's Animated Omega Supreme coming? |

I just bought the regular version last Sunday, and I love it. That said, I do think this Roadbuster homage is neat, but I will not be buying it. IF I cave and buy a repaint leader, it'd be the Shadow Megatron. But I really can't see buying a 45 dollar repaint. |

I really do like this mold/repaint. BUT...for the Animated line I've decided to stick to SHOW only figures. Unless UM get's a repaint on the show I will be passing. I'm kind of anticipating the rest of the clones so I'm kinda saving my pennies just in case. |
