New Beast Hunters Optimus Prime Voyager Class Out of Box Images of Transformers Prime Figure

78dn.net has posted a bevy of in- and out-of-package images featuring the upcoming Beast Hunters Voyager Optimus Prime. It's a comprehensive look at the figure with comparison to its predecessor, Powerizer Optimus Prime. It's also our first clear look at the Voyager's head, revealing a sans-faceplate, toothy scowl so severe one fears he's contemplating stealing X-mas. The figure itself looks pretty nice but the head sculpt is throwing me off, doesn't say Optimus to me. The weapons are a definite improvement over RID. Judging from the box art it looks like they gave him a new face. Again, it doesn't say Optimus to me. Looks more like an ol' school Ultr... read more

The improvement over the skinny Prime is amazing. I may break down and finally buy a toy from this series. Is it just me or does this toy pay a bit of homage to the Star Convoy figure?

Fans of Transformers Prime will finally get their fill with this listing that just appeared on Amazon for the Complete Series Blu-ray Boxset that is listed for release on August 12, 2016. After watching this via online streams. The great annimation of this series can finally truly be appreciated in a Blu-ray edition. There are no details on extras at this time, but the set is listed for $144.99 USD as an import, without country origin. Treat this as rumor until an official announcement likely to be made as SDCC next month.
The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.

In what appears to be last minute deal, Tranformers and other Hasbro shows will be staying on with Netfilx. As we reported previously, Hasbro and Netflix were to go their own way last month when a new deal fell through. However, without disclosing the terms of the detail. USA Today reports Netflix let be known that Hasbro Studios shows aren't going anywhere. Good news for Netflix customers who need their Transformers fix.
