New Casting Calls for Transformers 3 Surface, Filming Dates Revealed

With the Transformers 3 "pre-vis" shoot taking place very soon in Gary, Indiana (like this Monday), new casting calls for the film have popped up online looking for non-speaking and speaking extras.
Joan Philo Casting continues to look for Ukranian-looking men and women as non-speaking extras in the one-day shoot. In addition, Headquarters Casting is also looking for a non-speaking role in the form of what sounds to be a homeless person.
DW Studios is currently conducting auditions for principal actors in the Los Angeles area. These casting calls have also revealed that principal photography will begin on May 17th and will run through July 17th.
TakaraTomy has posted new images of their Metal Collection (AKA MetaColle) figures of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Optimus Prime and Bumblebee! Due out at the end of March, these diecast metal figures are small but only run 1,080 Yen each. (The size is more more pronounced when you realize the average height for a Japanese man is five feet, seven inches and the odds are against that hand being terribly big.)
