Fantofan is showing off some new images of both Nike Free 7.0 Convoy and Megatron figures from the latest issues of Figure Oh! and Dengeki Hobby magazines. Several pictures are colored images of what we have already seen. Several new pictures include a look at the packaging of the figures, which are designed to look like Nike shoeboxes. Others include close-ups of the shoes that Convoy and Megatron will be sporting, which are the alternate modes of the actual figure. For all of the images take a look at our mirrored image gallery.

For every new and interesting idea that comes out in the TF universe--e.g. MP3 Soundwave--it seems we get something like this, and honestly, I think this whole idea is terrible.

these two toys make me cringe, I couldnt own these if somebody gave them to me. Im not sure what the idea is behind it but it just doesnt work to my mind. If the trainers turned into big chunky slightly goofy go-bot type robos then it might work. I wish takara would stick to the core Tf toys instead of masses of crappy side lines, titaniums and those hideous SW transformers (sure the vehicle modes are neat) included.

Are they THAT desperate to make good sells? Some of the latest TF products produced are way too bizzare even for my tastes. Guess that can't be helped; afterall Transformers were made for one thing and one thing only: to be sold. And if things like this are necesary to achive the goal, they will go for it. -_-

my only complaint is that they shouldve made one of them a RIGHT shoe. Then they could be displayed as a pair... i mean, who displays just their left shoes?

Actually, i can't see any sense for Prime and Megs to convert into such a stupid form, as these Alt-Modes are totally useless, even on a ToyStory-Level
