New Looks at Maketoys Quantron Combiner Project Homage to NOT Computron

Just in via TF Upgrader is a new images of the Maketoys project "Quantron" combiner figure that pays homage to the G1 Computron character. Following the design images, we have some new looks at the combined Quantron in prototype forum that includes Blindfire NOT Strafe, Celeritas NOT Lightspeed and Metalstorm NOT Scattershot for the full reveal below. If this had been Defensor I would be crying at this point...because there would be no break in 3rd Party Gestalts. While this one looks good (better from a front angle, this shot makes him look fat) I'm not looking for oversized calculator can be my stand in for him for now....:tfevil... read more

Iron Factory has posted a new round of photos to their Weibo page of Lord Scorpion. The Legends-compatible(ish) sized take on Scorponok is shown in a great number of poses, demonstrating the figure's flexibility. The text of the post makes reference to a height of 16cm (just over 6 inches) and says that the bulk of the robot is expected to give it a feeling of greater largeness, seemingly acknowledging concerns about the actual height of the robot mode. Lord Scorpion's release has been pushed back a couple times, but hopefully a new batch of photos means we're getting close! Keep reading to take a look.
