I don't know if we should be happy or sad about this news. Most Transformers fans know what kind of hurt Micheal Bay's vision (or lack of) has put on the franchise. Even though the moves raked in a ton of money, it left our beloved robots for retail road kill. Now, there's a rumor circling that the new Robocop could be rebooted as a Transformer. According to the post over at Bleeding Cool, the robot cop we all know and love is getting a makeover with a “social mode” that transforms to “combat mode” and back. Even if the news is untrue, what do you think about Hollywood Transforming our favorite movies like this?

By page 54, they are already onto Robocop 4.0, who looks like a “cop on steroids painted metallic blue.”

Oh, god… oh dear god… Robocop is a Transformer. He goes from “social mode” to “combat mode” and back. Full transformation.
