New Transformers 2 ROTF Skywarp and Ramjet Images

By News_Staff on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Thanks to ebay seller yizhi521 for posted an auction with new looks at the alternate jet modes for both of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Starscream action figure repaints as Ramjet and Skywarp.

The new image is especially good in that is offers a new and clearer view of the two figure's paint applications as well as a perspective from above.

Far as we can see there are no obvious mold changes or additions made to either of the figures give us some confirmation that these are just straight repaints. Good news for all those seeker lovers out there.

UPDATE: Two new auctions solves the head mold questions. The Ramjet Figure appears with the Starscream head. The Skywarp head will use the Thundercracker mold.

They're good repaints. Nice to get a Voyager Ramjet to match the one from Reign of Starscream.

Ramjet looks nice! Meh, on Skywarp. I never bought Thundercracker cuz i dont like the head sculpt much. Ramjet actually reminds me of the seekers in the TF1-ROTF Starscream comic epic. The nose cone even sticks up so in the pic he looks "coneheaded"

Ramjet's bot mode looks really good, in my opinion. I like it a lot.

In the pic SkyWarp's face kinda looks like G1 Scourge. Those are nice bots though, in hand I wonder how true I'll stay to my resolve?

*looks at new pics* cool idea to use one head for the cone head and the other for the regular seeker. Ok now my interest is a big fat zero

Yep...Ramjet has the 'Starscream' head, and Skywarp has the retooled head (like Thundercracker). Thanks for adding the bot pics!

From the pic Ramjet looks like he'll have the regular head, I can't tell if SkyWarp has the retooled head. I was thinking of maybe going for another complete Seeker set. But now I'm feeling iffy. I will say this though. This mold may be very untraditional, but it is fun and detailed. W... read more

2nd'D the only thing that's keeping me interested is if they use Thunder Cracker or Star Screams head design... But once I find that out my interest is zero

I have two: 1) because they have canon-wise. 2) because it's cheaper toy-wise.
