Newest Transformers G1 Comic Dubbed Revelations

By bwbm on Tuesday, March 11, 2008

IDW Publishing editor-in-chief Chris Ryall has announced that the next mini-series installment of Simon Furman's Generation 1 "tion" saga will be called Revelations and begin this summer. Solicitations for the book will begin in the April Previews book.

The final installment of this saga will include four issues presented in a Transformers: Spotlight format. Each issue will feature a new character, which Mr. Ryall revealed two as Cyclonus and Hardhead. He did not reveal the other two.

E.J. Su will return on the book with internal pencils for issues 1 and 4 and cover duties for all four issues. Nick Roche will also be responsible for covers, which Mr. Ryall says is a "distinctive new style" and promises to reveal these at a later date. He did not reveal who would be in charge of the internal pencils for issues 2 and 3.

4th bot looks like Doubledealer, due to the shape of the missile on his back.

Apparently the last one is actually Doubledealer. It's possible that by last chapter, they only mean the last chapter in the arcs ending with 'tion', seeing as the one after Revelations is suppose to be 'Expansion'. I really hope thats the case, cause I have to agree, it would ... read more
