SDCC 2012 - Official Looks at San Diego Comic Con 2012 Transformers Exclusives Start Whetting Your Appetite

By Peter Van on Thursday, June 07, 2012

Hasbro Inc has just sent out the official images of the Transformers products that they will be offering at San Diego Comic Con 2012 this year, just in time to figure out if your bank account can sustain the hit.

Revealed at BotCon 2012, Hasbro will be offering the Transformers Prime Terrorcon Cliffjumper, Transformers Fall of Cybertron Bruticus, and GI Joe Shockwave H.I.S.S. Tank, a follow up to last year's extremely successful Starscream Sky Striker with Cobra Commander exclusive.

TERRORCON "RUST IN PEACE" CLIFFJUMPER
What makes this Cliffjumper so impressive is that the figure will be using the First Edition mold, something that has been highly sought on these shores after much of the line was cancelled due to lack of orders from retailers.

The figure is the same Zombie Cliffjumper the company was going to release in the main line, but with additional paint apps and damage. The figure will also come with a Dark Energon piece that can be snapped into the chest cavity so you can replay the Starscream stabbing over and over.

BRUTICUS IN GAME ACCURATE COLORS
Bruticus, meanwhile, will feature the game-accurate colors, rather than Hasbro's own take that will be launched in the Transformers Generations line in October.

All of the figures will come with a rockin' box set with the awesome art work you see above.

SHOCKWAVE H.I.S.S. TANK w/ DECEPTICON DESTRO AND B.A.T. SOLDIER
Continuing the practice from last year when the company offered the extremely popular GI Joe Transformers Starscream Sky Striker and Cobra Commander, the company is offering the GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra HISS Tank with Shockwave's trademark purple color, complete with a large Decepticon insignia emblazoned on either side of the tank as well as the nose.

The figure will also get a new cannon on the top of the vehicle, similar to Shockwave's gun from Generation 1, along with Decepticon Destro in clear purple plastic.

Additionally, they have added the B.A.T. action figure with some way cool accessories. The little additions like the energon cubes are tiny Soundwave with cassettes (non-transforming) are pretty dang sweet.

The Starscream Sky Striker, one of Hasbro's SDCC exclusive last year, was extremely popular, selling out very quickly at the Hasbro Toy Shop booth at the convention and within minutes of the toy available for sale on HasbroToyShop.com.

Take a look at the images in the gallery, and let us know in the poll which one you find more intersting.
