Optimus Prime Rides A Dinobot To Battle In Transformers 4 Promo Image From Trade Show - SPOILERS
ExVee - Friday, November 08, 2013

In an image taken during a recent trade show and posted at JoeBlo.com, we finally get a look at one of the Dinobots from Age of Extinction, with a battle ready Optimus Prime on his back. What could possibly top an alien death robot riding a giant mechanical dinosaur carrying a huge sword and shield?

Anyone hoping for anything remotely classic with the movie Dinobots may be disappointed. Though we only see the dinosaur mode here, Grimlock is looking a lot more like a piece from the old Dinozaurs toyline than something stepping out of a Transformers production.

"an alien death robot" may be a bit much to describe Optimus...perhaps Megs! But I'll buy the rest. ;)

Man, if you're going to leak, LEAK. Don't be cute about it, it's annoying. TF-factory, the usual Weibo leaker, has struck again. Today's first round of leaks revolves around the Studio Series, the movie line expected to start somewhere around next April. We have new package images for Brawl, Optimus Prime, and Starscream - though the latter two have been both pixelated AND had their contents scribbled over - and a piece of artwork for Starscream. Click through to see.
Happy Weibo Leak Day, I guess? The same Weibo source that brought us the image of the box back panel now has posted images of the upcoming Movie Series Blackout and its accessory Scorponok! The figure is quite impressive looking, and as we learned from the packaging already, boasts a 46-step transformation. Keep reading to see!
Next up on the leaks from Weibo users this morning, "tf-factory" has also dropped package-back images of Leader Brawl and Megatron from the upcoming movie line! ...but, they've been marked through. Either someone's being an extra-clever leaker, or Hasbro has gone very effectively low-tech in their leak prevention efforts! But if you'd like an unobstructed view of an as-yet unreleased figure we've also mirrored images of Authentics Grimlock here. Keep reading!
A user on Weibo has shared out a partial image of the back of box for an upcoming Blackout toy. What is presumed to be a Leader Class figure from the recently-named 'Studio Series' lineup as revealed via Toys R Us inventory data can be seen (in typical CG render style) in both robot and vehicle modes, and includes a small scorpion mode Scorponok partner figure just as the original Voyager Class Blackout did way back in the 2007 movie line. Little specifics can be discerned, but we do get to see the call-out for a 46 step transformation process, to which we can say only: Yikes! Click through to view the full size image.
The 4K UHD release the first four Transformers films: TRANSFORMERS, TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON and TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, which will be released on December 5th (TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT is available now on 4K UHD). All releases come in a 3-disc 4K UHD/Blu-ray Combo Pack with Digital copy.
