Out of Package Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Images - Ultra Magnus, Kickback, Sideswipe, and Starscream

By Jack on Thursday, November 15, 2012

Thanks to our site sponsor RobotKingdom who have posted more new images of the Hasbro Transformers Fall of Cybertron Deluxe 2013 W1 Sealed case of 8. The case will include Ultra Magnus, Kickback, Sideswipe, and Starscream. Get a look at the figures out of the packages and int their robot and alternate mode(s). These toys are set to start shipping on November 19 2012. Read more details from RobotKingdom on these figures and their weapons below:
You might not be interested in War for Cybertron and Fall of cybertron figures, but I am sure you cannot resist their weapons! Many Transformers fans are complaining about the size of FOC deluxe figures, but this time the smaller size reflect the huge size of hand held weapons.

The sword and cannon of Ultra Magnus can combine to form a buster sword.

The Twin machine gun from Starscream comes with gears so both guns rotate when you rotate one of them.

Sideswipe Cannon is massive, which fits well on most transformers figures.

Air Raid's swords combine to form another buster sword, and can separate to become a sword and a cannon mounted on his arms.

Kickback's gun is capable of launching Energon disc.

If you have tried the game, you might recognize some of the designs are quite Game Accurate too. Is it a response to the increasing 3rd parties which construct weapons accesory for Transformers?

We'll see.

Thanks to @GeneralTekno on Twitter for this one! The story is that artist Livio Ramondelli, responsible for the The Transformers side of the Combiner Wars crossover, has confirmed that Cyclonus will not be appearing, thus there will be no impetus to redesign or move the character from his More Than Meets The Eye appearance in order to have him conform to the Combiner Wars crossover. And frankly, that's a relief. We'll update this story if we get a more direct confirmation of this but for now, keep reading to see the tweet!
It sure looks that way. TFW2001 user scubaboy31 has posted an image from the back of the Combiner Wars Wave 2 pack-in comic which shows various behind-the-scenes images, and one of the illustrations looks very much like Stunticon newcomer Offroad with Ironhide's head. This has been the speculation for a good while now: that the Ironhide that turned up in retailers' computers would be remolded from Offroad to combine his movie, pickup truck self with his G1 design in much the same way as was done in Transformers Prime. Keep reading to see the image!
Since the reveal of the long-form bio notes included on the pack-in comics starting with Deluxe Wave 2, there's been more than a little curiosity of who was behind them. Written in-character as either Rung or Soundwave, the profiles feature an interesting and entertaining style that's caught a lot of attention. While we rarely get to find out just who's responsible for describing the characters on the packages, thanks to John Barber this writer's identity has been revealed. Keep reading to find out!
We reported previously on Combiner Wars including pack-in comic issues starting with the second assortment of Deluxes. What we didn't know until today was that the back page of each comic features a long-form character bio. Each is written as a report from either Autobot "Psy-Ops Specialist" Rung, or Soundwave and are written with some interesting details - especially in Offroad's case. Early adopters of wave 1 may have even more incentive now to double dip when the reships of those figures take place. Keep reading to see scans.
