Planet X Announce Genesis G1 Colors To Be Revised - WFC Colors Coming Our Way?

By Jack on Sunday, December 23, 2012

Sounds like the fans have been heard with an announcement via the Robotkingdom facebook page that the Planet X Genesis G1 Colors are going to be "tuned down" from the red and yellow G1 colors. It seems all the complaints about the test shot that were recently shown has gotten Planet X to favor the "original design" for what we can hope to be more like the War For Cybertron colors. Check out the official announcement below.
Plaent X Genesis updated.

Was informed that their colored test type picture is a little too bright due to the flash when photo, and they also will intend to tune down a little bit on red & Yellow closer to its original design instead of G1 color !

Hope we will see the final product color soon :)

The G1 colors shown below will be revised.

Bring on the War For Cybertron game colors PLEASE!!!!

Play With This Too has been busy this week with reveals on the latest episode of the TFYLP podcast and on their Facebook page with Play With This Toosday. The TFYLP podcast interviewed Rik Alvarez about his latest Head Shots, three action figure heads by former Hasbro sculptor Mark Wong. These three heads are called Bruiser, Tark and Secton, and match well with some of the bodies they ave already announced.
Meteor Operation has presented us with several photos of a new third party product. Well known accessory maker Dr. Wu has branched off and formed Dr. Q, which for the moment seems to be engaging in making SD-style figures of Transformers characters. The first example is an Optimus and Grimlock based on the G1 designs, but made for Optimus to ride Grimlock as in the movies. We don't have any release information yet, but for now you can keep reading to check out the photos!
Just in via Uranus an TFSource we have some new looks at the KFC's Transistor Boom Box Mode images. Get a look more photos of KFC's transistor which will be released soon! Preorder yours now at TFSource.com. Read on to see the Boom Box mode and more images now.
Mega Steel has released a new picture of their Buster figure based on G1 Blaster. This roughly Voyager size figure can now be seen in what we expect are final production colors and paint applications, and while it diverges a bit more from the image of Blaster, it still looks quite nice! They're expecting final shipment from their factory next month, so these should hit your retailer of choice soon after that. Keep reading for the full size photo.
