By Jack on Tuesday, October 16, 2012

Following on the previous report, Planet X have release a preview images for Project Genesis that shows a bit of the prototype figure for what is believed to be a NOT Omega Supreme action figure that pays homage to the G1 character in a whole new way. Also included are some CGI mock-ups of the alternate mode that are kind of hard to make out the figure in. Stay tuned for more details on Project Genesis as they are available.

Waiting is the wisest decision right now, the original reveal silhouette made Genesis look like ROTF Devastator with wings, and the $300+ price tag is more than a smallturn-off, then again Herc was twice that and then some all said and done, and Genesis is supposed to be the same size, so at th... read more

This has to be one hell of a toy for $300. I'll wait until I see the final before I decide to dismiss this toy or not.

With the upcoming Generations Platinum Omega Supreme. I do not see Genesis being that popular, along with the Price tag

New news does seem to be coming out pretty quickly though. I'm sure there'll be a full reveal of both modes before the preorder window closes, maybe even in actual production colors.

From everything I have been reading, most are holding back or skipping it because we have not seen any real pics or reviews

My concern with that is enough people might actually pay that much and he won't make it to clearance. Then I guess I'll be watching the ebays for him....

And Genesis just showed up on BBTS for $350.00. I'm sure he will end up on Clearance, and that will be the time to buy

In G1 yes, he was a great battle station. Doesn't mean that's all he can ever be. Is this going to be another "trukk not munky" thing? Stashun not spazshp?

Hot on the heels, palms, face, and breastplate of PE's Computron upgrades come a set of upgrades for pretty much the rest of Combiner Wars! Improvements for Optimus Maximus, Bruticus, and G2 Superion will be available between April and May. On top of that, they've announced replacement parts to address an issue with their PC-06 kit for Combiner Wars Devastator that caused a loosening of the wrist joints. Keep reading for all of the details!
Before Combiner Wars Computron is officially announced or even acknowledged, Perfect Effect has already debuted yet another variation of their Perfect Combiner upgrade system geared around the Technobot combiner. Coming in two sets, one is a chest piece, head and rifle, and the other features the customary poseable hands and feet in a dark red. The move isn't an entirely blind shot. The torso upgrade itself has merit with or without a Computron box set being a reality, though it sadly does little to fix the color layout issues. But it's a bizarre state of affairs to see unofficial upgrades announced before the toy they're made for. Keep reading to see the pictures!
Today on Weibo, X-Transbots has shared new photos of their Master Mini series of figures. Now in production are Boost, based on Windcharger, and Hatch, based on Tailgate. These are part of X-Transbots' Masterpiece-compatible line, and each features an option part or two to help the figures reflect either media appearances or be a little more toy-oriented. With these samples being from the actual production run, retailers should be seeing these come in stock pretty soon. We've mirrored the photos, so click through to check them out.
Just posted are pre-orders for the BadCube OTS-Special 01 Sentinel Blaze figure, a homage to the Diaclone Red Sunstreaker. Old Time Series Blaze is a transforming robot that turns into a red sports car. He features a full body paint job and several chrome accessories. This item is priced at $83.99 to begin shipping in March 2016 - order now at bigbadtoystore.com.
Site sponsor TFSource has posted images of Badcube's Sentinel Blaze, a release of their OTS-08 Sunsurge in Sunstreaker's original Diaclone Red! The figure is due in late March, and a preorder is available on TFSource's webside. Keep reading to see!
