Transformers Platinum Edition Year of the Horse Optimus Prime English Edition TRU Exclusive Announced

Toys "R" Us Canada have posted a product listing announcing the Transformers Platinum Edition Year of the Horse Optimus Prime action figure set. Listed as the "TRANSFORMERS - Platinum Edition - Optimus Prime (Year of the Horse) Figure - English Edition." we can assume this will eb Chinese export version. Based on the description and price it is believed this will be a specially package Masterpiece MP-10 action figure with trailer set. The figure set is listed for $139.99 CAD / with an estimated ship date of December 31, 2013. Sorry, no images at this time but you can read the product summary below for the back-story on the set.

Hisashi Yuki has posted another new shot of Masterpiece Star Saber, and this time he must be on the way to the bathroom as he's carrying the newspaper with him. While we can surely understand some pride with Star Saber, it seems like Yuki-san may be running out of new photo ideas at this point. It may be time soon to move on to other pastures for photo tweets, but for now let's wait and see just how eccentric it gets before March!
Amazon Japan has posted a series of new photos with their preorder page for Masterpiece G2 Bumblebee, coming out this summer. The shiny gold version of Bumblebee will come with a jetpack accessory derived from the G1 cartoon episode Dinobot Island, as well as having the previously Amazon exclusive toy-accurate faceplate in addition to the two regular face options. Update from Kapow toys indicates the Transformers Masterpiece MP-23 Exhaust, Diaclone Marlboor repaint, of WheelJack may be cancelled. According to the report, the changes made by Takara Tomy are not enough to distinguish the robot transformer vehicle from a pack of cigarettes. As silly as this may sound.
