Possible Arcee Sister Combination Found!

By Reluttr on Monday, March 15, 2010

Well gents, I have the pics up for your viewing pleasure. Here is all 3 of them, all combined together. As for pose-ability, they are actually quite flexible. You can position the shoulder cannon any way you wish. You can rotate the arms. And if you tighten Arcee's waist joint, you can get some decent action poses. You can even see my "shoot you in the face" pose in the images gallery album.

So am I. I too am talking about her official formó specifically, how she actually appeared in the movie itself. The Chromia mold looks nothing like her actual appearance in the movie. The Arcee mold with some slight modification to move her front wheel onto the left arm looks almost exactly like ... read more

I'm gonna go with the official setup. Arcee, Chromia, Elita-1. I realize that the molds aren't perfect and have problems due to the designs, but I'm going to go with Hasbro's recommendation. If it turns out that I just wasted $10.00 on nothing, eh, nothing I can do. Elita-1 wa... read more

The Chromia mold is far from perfect because it's really the wrong mold to use for this character. Get a second Arcee, mod her, and repaint her and you'll have the third sister.

Well, I went ahead and bought another Chromia. I painted her purple (looks pretty good, but imperfect) which will save me time, money, and gas. (Because Elita will be a bitch to find... and I don't like the official color scheme) I've tried the combination in the video link, I see how it wo... read more

That was concept art. And out of all the crappy attempts to combine these three (not that people are crappy, the toys are), this one actually looks the best. And it only took you Wheelsnake fans a year to do it/sarcasm. Well done/non-sarcasm.

Interesting combination. A couple of things though. If you look at the concept art, Arcee's wheels (the double wheel set) are supposed to end up high behind the head of the combined mode, not as the main support wheel. The combined mode runs on a single wheel. IT's the purple sister who'... read more

This is my, personal, rendition of the Arcee bikes' combination. This requires no Modding or part's forming. Hope you enjoy

Genetic of TFND has come through again with a huge gallery of photos of Optimus Prime Ultimate Edition, the most heavily equipped and painted version of Transformers 1-3 Optimus Prime you will ever see. It has a ridiculous amount of equipment, all storable in its Murder Truck mode. And even articulated fingers - keep reading to see it all!
The TransformersAsia Facebook page has posted a wealth of images of the new Ultimate Optimus Prime, showing off what almost has to be the definitive version of Optimus as he appeared in Transformers (2007), Revenge Of The Fallen, and Dark Of the Moon. Featuring comparisons to the previous APS-01 release, Ultimate Prime features lots more paint and a tremendous loadout of weapons. The figure's due for release on April 24th but in the meantime you can keep reading to see the mirrored gallery of 43 images!
Cinematic Universes are a Thing right now, with Marvel and Star Wars leading the way. Now, according to Deadline, Paramount is looking at their biggest movie property with an eye towards more varied (and frequent) releases. To that end they're enlisting writer Akiva Goldsman, whose credits range from the drama A Beautiful Mind to the well-received TV series Fringe ...to Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. This should be interesting. The story also hints that Michael Bay may unsurprisingly be returning for Transformers 5 after his current movie project - or at least that TF5 won't go ahead until that project is complete. Keep reading for more details!
Site sponsor Robot Kingdom has posted images of the upcoming Hybrid Metal Figuration Age of Extinction Bumblebee from Herocross, a large figure featuring (as the name implies) diecast metal in its construction. It's due for July at a price of $130, and looks decently poseable and highly accessorized as far as SD figures go. Keep reading to see!
ToysRUs Japan has posted new images of Black Knight Optimus Prime! Based on Armor Knight Optimus Prime, the heavily-reworked version of Generations Leader-class Optimus, Black Knight Prime is every bit as extensively painted as the Armor Knight version and looks great. The figure is due for release in August at a price of 8,638 Yen after tax. Keep reading for the photos!
