Pre-Order War for Cybertron Game From GameStop; Unlock Exclusive Shockwave

GameStop has revealed that if you pre-order the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game through their website or brick and mortar store, you will gain access to Shockwave, in multiplayer mode.

The character is exclusive to GameStop and a code will be provided to customers when the game releases.

The video game retailer's website also agrees with Amazon.com's release date of June 22, 2010 for the game.

Yeah, those multiplayer games were most definitely fun. Maybe co-op for this game will be announced, too! That'd be pretty awesome.

Yeah ROTF was a pretty fun multiplayer game, really shows how a great multiplayer can make up for a piece of shit single player. Which reminds me when War for Cybertron comes out there has got to be some online game nights like we did for ROTF, those we're some fun matches

I don't own the RoTF game (a game based on a horrible movie, no thanks), so I missed out on nothing really...lol. Even if I did own it, I wouldn't ever play multiplayer so again I missed out on nothing.

A lack of interesting, single-player game play? Yep, being able to run around shooting at manually controlled characters is so much better than having a well made video game.

I was only planning on getting the DS version of the game, as my "console" system is an Amiga CD32. This probably won't be something for the DS.

While I love Shockwave any incentive that's aimed at multiplayer only Sucks bigtime. I have a 360, but Never use it for multiplayer, just not a fan of multiplayer at all.
