Transformers Prime - First Looks at The BIG Secret Transformer Everyone Knows About
Jack Q - Monday, September 26, 2011

Thanks to forums member Optics who has shared a image from the pending Transformers Prime episode that we were told about at BotCon and SDCC 2011.

There is sooo much secrecy around this character that pretty much everyone knows who it is.

We don't want to spoil it for anyone, but you can take a look at this image after the jump and get an idea for your self when you see it is not the size of a planet.

Who do you think the mystery character is?
Primus
Ronald McDonald
Marshmellow Man
Unicron
Orson Wells
Michelin Tire Guy
Pillsbury Dough Boy

He didn't HAVE any powers in G1 or any other continuity.... Nothing beyond his ability to restore planets he ate..And that was just in Energon, I can't imagine THAT would make him a threat even. His size was what made him so deadly. His only power was using his size to rip planets to shreds ... read more

A smaller Unicron less of a threat? Size doesnt matter. Its the power that he has. I wish they would have made him Prime size.

Man....I wish they did something smart like that in the original 80s movie... They were stupid to just let him show up right at Cybertron...

Not really because the bigger you are the easier it is to take you down. Not only would they have seen him coming sooner, but they would have been able to stop him before he even reached Earth. At least being a little bigger then Fortress Maximus, he could actually sneak onto the planet at the most... read more

His actions in the episode will decide that I guess. But as a planet sized TF, all he had to do was slam his fist into the country everyone was on and BOOM! All die! I'd say a planet sized TF would be a lot deadlier. Prove me wrong, Prime. You've been making good episodes and I wann... read more

Completely off topic, but I wonder why nobody has ever done a custom Star Wars crossover with Unicron as the Deathstar/Darth Vader. It wouldn't be that hard....

I like it, and it gives Unicron more of a Death Dealer feel, he may be smaller, but he can be more of a threat by being smaller, then being a planet

Man...His smaller size makes him much less of a threat. Could've just called this guy "Zarak" or something

Shout Factory have just posted a new product listing for the Transformers Prime: Ultimate Rivals that will be offered on DVD this fall. Read on for the full details and images.
There've been some pretty spectacular Combiner Wars customs of late - the innovative Raiden that made a 6-part combiner in the format comes to mind. Now, a Japanese Twitter user by the name of @nekogami_red has made the Transformers Prime Decepticons into a combiner! Knock Out, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Airachnid (gotta have a helicopter in there somewhere or it's not Combiner Wars, right?), and Megatron combine to form a body for Unicron! Click through to see the photos.
Not Optimus Prime, not Transformers Prime. Just "Prime." In a bold move, Hasbro is attempting to secure the exclusive trademark rights to use the word "Prime" in reference to "toy robots convertible to other visual toy forms." Are more Primes on the horizon? Is this a pre-emptive move to make sure nobody can Machine Robot Rescue them on a key term in the modern Transformers mythos? No way to tell, but keep reading to see the details of the filing by way of Transformers@TheMoon!
Fans of Transformers Prime will finally get their fill with this listing that just appeared on Amazon for the Complete Series Blu-ray Boxset that is listed for release on August 12, 2016. After watching this via online streams. The great annimation of this series can finally truly be appreciated in a Blu-ray edition. There are no details on extras at this time, but the set is listed for $144.99 USD as an import, without country origin. Treat this as rumor until an official announcement likely to be made as SDCC next month.
The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.
