Transformers Prime Season 3 and Beyond Details - Beast Hunters, Cartoons, Generations Thru 2015 Revealed

By Jack on Thursday, September 13, 2012

There more than meets the Beast! Seems the mysterous new trademark filed by Hasbro for entertainments and toys has some meat behind it with some new details that have surfaced via a Corporate Presentation PDF that appears to be from Hasbro's South America group as the information is presented in Spanish.

The most important bit of info is the last slide that reveals the "Beast Hunters" will be the name for Transformers Prime season 3 starting fall of 2013. Judging from the image, the fall series finds the Autobots taking on some strange creatures.

Additionally, the presentation provides some news items on Generations, Resuce Bots and the future of the Prime TV show.

Excellent news for fans is the slide showing Transformers Generations running through to 2014.

So much for any rumors of the demise of the show. Transformers Prime and the Rescue Bots have plans to be running through 2015 according one slide.

The Beast Hunters are listed to be preceded by a cartoon campaign in the spring, its not clear if "Stand United" is the campaign name or what.

Bear in mind, this information if official, is from Hasbro's long range view and subject to change since it has been presented as these things are generally updated from year to year. Check out the images in the gallery for more details or read the full presentation availble via Google Docs

I would love a third faction, if for nothing else, just to throw in something new!

Here's hoping the "Beasts" in question are the Dinobots, more flavors of Insecticons, and Thundertron's faction.

Please tell me this is not going to turn into Autbots VS the Predacons. I would rather take a new faction, like the one, that Thundertron is going to lead

I was thinking he looked like a BW Megatron (Dragon, not T-Rex), especially with Prime & Bee in the foreground. Regardless, I'm kinda of interested to see this play out.

That beast in the background almost looks like the Mutant Razor Claw.

Interesting things from those pictures... including original TFTM cover, Generation 2 #1... Calvin Johnson (Megatron) but not Marshawn Lynch (Beast Mode) obvious due to Lynch bring a criminal!

In what appears to be last minute deal, Tranformers and other Hasbro shows will be staying on with Netfilx. USA Today reports Netflix let be known that Hasbro Studios shows aren't going anywhere. Good news for Netflix customers who need their Transformers fix.
Adweek has posted an article about Hasbro's TV strategies that goes into of detail about The Hub - and what went wrong. The short version is that Discovery was admirably hands-off with the network, leaving Hasbro almost solely in charge of programming... and a combination of slow profits, the proliferation of on-demand viewing, and the departure of President & CEO Margaret Loesch led Hasbro get out of the network-running business. Keep reading for more details on all that and a link to the full article where you can see My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic described as "creepily beloved"!
