Imaginarium recently shared a shot of the upper body of their upcoming Devastator statue
, showing off the general styling and detail level. Tonight they've continued downward, revealing the lower half of the body with a look at the legs and a considerable chunk of the base environment the statue stands on. Sadly these are not separate cuts of the same image in order to piece them back together - or I would have - but you can still get a good sense of the overall product between them. There has long been speculation about if, when and how Hasbro and Mattel would join forces to make the ultimate toy and game company. According to The Wall Street Journal, Hasbro is said to be on the prowl (pun) again, after substantiated news just last year, about the two companies being in talks.
At this point there is nothing substantial to report. Yet, this time feels better with Hasbro's recent move to a media company. When more content is what they need. Barbie, Hot Wheels and so many brands under the Mattel brand are great choices.
