Revenge of the Fallen Robot Heroes Sets Desert Devastation, Shanghai Shootout
bwbm - Tuesday, July 14, 2009

We just got these shots of two new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Robot Hereos battle scene sets Desert Devastation and Shanghai Shootout.

The Desert set contains Devastator (no you cannot take him apart), the Twins Skids and Mudflap, and an unknown human, which we guess is Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel), even though he looks quite goofy.

On the other end of the film is Shanghai Shootout, containing Optimus Prime, Sideswipe, Demolisher, the Twins in Ice Cream Truck mode, and Sideways.

I like that other one with The Fallen better. But I LOVE the idea of oversized RHs. And a human RH is the next step in finally giving us physical representation of Sari damnit!

More Transformers Movies News
A piece on Variety earlier this week reveals that Huahua Media out of China and Paramount Pictures are ending what was supposed to be a multi-year investment deal that would see the Chinese company contribute financing to numerous film productions. If this sounds vaguely familiar, it should. In August, Paramount execs flew to China to smooth things over after a string of movies - most recent at the time being Transformers: The Last Knight - failed to perform to expectations. Paramount says they'll pursue financing partnerships elsewhere - including with Hasbro - but on the whole it's probably still not good news at all. Keep reading for more details!
The usual Weibo source has turned up what appears to be some package-back images for the upcoming Movie Edition Brawl & Megatron figures! The differences are subtle, with each figure being shown in its backdrop display on its own packaging with the other taking the first position in the "Build The Cast" lineup. Keep reading to see.
A Toys R Us employee who requests to remain unidentified but has a reliable track record has revealed some new discoveries from the inventory system, featuring mainly new Movie-series merchandise, plus a couple of as-yet unknown exclusives. Keep reading for a full list!
Loopaza on Facebook has shared information from retailer listings, revealing TakaraTomy releases for new movie products starting in April of next year - and if you pay attention to leak info, some of this is going to sound familiar! Along with this news is further signs of Movie Masterpiece Barricade being on the way, with MPM-5 among the listed goods. We'll go through the list for you, so keep reading!
Following on from the release of The Last Knight in a 4K edition, we've now got listing via Best Buy for releases of the previous 4 movies at the same "Ultra HD" quality. Coming in standard combo packs with 4K, blu-ray, and digital formats, the rest of the movie series is due out on December 5th, priced at $27.99 each. The covers boast of added high dynamic range to deepen the the color detail, however we presume this process is still not capable of deepening the plots of the films. Keep reading for cover samples.
