If the last wave has very poor distro, perhaps it would be good to scoop up a few of these suckers and sell'em on E-Bay?

You mean to scoop them up and sell them for higher prices? That's called scalping, and the fandom tends to frown on that. Why not do us one better and scoop them up and resell them for retail price to kids and fans who can't find them in their area. That's how the fandom is supposed to work. Scalpers should talk a walk.
As for Alpha-Q...the colors may be off and the head sculpts may not be the best, but I love the toy just because it shows Hasbro is being more open minded to what they'll put in the Transformers line. I don't buy toys, I'm too old for toys, but I do purchase characters. You're never to old to relate to a character...this toy is a character. I'll definately be owning him and Six Shot(better than Lazerwave)...
