I think you might just be transforming Nightstick wrong, or you've got a bad one... I've got two of the new Cyclonus's and both are just fine, Nightstick transforms flush and connects to either slot just fine. |

I like the flat. It was very much part of the aesthetic. This was back in the days when they were still trying to get the flying wing to work, and the sr-71 blackbird had only recently been publicly acknowledged and photographed. Flat planes were "futuristic". |

Truth be told the old G1 plane mode did have a flat nose, when looked at from the side. But the Universe robot mode dominates supremely on show accuracy. Except for the color, of course. Yeah, also notice how it looks flat like a pancake. Sorry, that ugly nose throws the whole aesthetic off for me. It's all personal opinion, of course, but I think the Universe (even with the back end flaw) is a better representative of the show. |
