Roberto Orci, one-third of the "Transformers 2" scriptwriting team, has posted on "Transformers" producer
Don Murphy's message board, to give a quick update on the status of the sequel's script and screenplay.
"So we got back to work this week and we find out Bay and production has been prepping the entire movie off of our pre-strike outline! The very one we turned in the night before the strike.
"Bay essentially
transferred our outline into screenplay format and came up with some really fun gags and a few descriptions of the kind of hardware he will need for production." writes Mr. Orci.
Mr. Orci says the writers had "two weeks on the outline," and that they are "still going through the prep schedule to find out what has been prepped so far down the road that it can be changed and what can't."

Sorry. I didn't really consider it to be a spoiler because it's most likely a bogus treatment amidst a sea of bogus stuff that Bay will be posting. And it was posted months ago. But you're right. I should have labeled it as a possible spoiler. My bad. |

BTW it'd be really f*cking awesome to NOT spoil the sequel. Folks should get banned for such an act. |

I kinda doubt that script treatment will be used - it's just a little too fan-friendly. (However, it wouldn't surprise me if minor elements of it survived to the film.) |

I know which version you are referring to. I read that treatment and it's frickin amazing. I mean, if they actually do all that stuff with Devastator and Ultra Magnus and such, that would be insane. The only thing is, however, with all the various incarnations of the screenplay that have been de... read more |

Is this the same outline that introduced Hot Rod and Soundwave, had schism in the Decepticons, (Megatron Loyalists and Starscrem loyalists) and ended with a huge battle in Las Vegas? |
