Rumormill - Fox Was Booted For Being Skinny, New Girl Joins the Name Drop Game

As the world turns, so do the rumors of who will replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3 as Shia LaBeouf's main love interest.

Show Biz Spy has dropped the name of Katie Cassidy onto the table of revolving attractive women. Ms. Cassidy recently worked with Director Michael on Nightmare on Elm Street.

Meanwhile Geek Week points to Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, citing movie insiders. Ms. Whiteley were previously tossed around when the news of Ms. Fox's departure first arose. Next, there has been a rumor floating around why she left the film in the first place.

Show Biz Spy reports that the decision (regardless of who decided first) for Ms. Fox's departure was over the issue of weight. The gossip website reports that Mr. Bay criticized Ms. Fox for being too skinny.

She reportedly was so furious that she "stormed out" after a confrontation with the director. The site also reports that the rest of the crew also feels she's getting too skinny.

This information is not exactly new, but we do not know if this is a cause for her drop, since they have had this discussion before.

The director has told Ms. Fox she was underweight before, mainly prior to shooting for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

"I'd lost a lot of weight and I got really scrawny," she said in an interview back in 2008, "but I was told I had to put on a size for Transformers because [Mr. Bay] doesn't like skinny girls."
