By News_Staff on Sunday, April 20, 2008 @ 02:18:56 PM

Thanks to kenzsq for photos of the much-speculated San Diego Comic-Con 2008 Hasbro Toy Shop Exclusive, Transformers Classic Nemesis Prime. Expect this figure to retail somewhere between $19.99 to $24.99 at SDCC 2008, taking place July 24 - 27 this year. Take a view of the figure in the gallery.

their were a few black lio convoys one that was the Leo Convoy in black (it had a few variants) and galvaConvoy who had a purple main. Galva Convoy was from the Manga and was a true nemesis prime in that he was a evil clone and then theirs black armored Lio Convoy I'm not sure on his story but u... read more

On the show he was made by Galvatron... and I'd explain it more but the plots of BWII were always pretty lame....... Also, he's probably listed as that because they jus sold him in the regular lio convoy box with a sticker saying with new hat "BLACK LIO CONVOY"

Uh... no. Black Lio Convoy was infact an evil clone. Perhaps you're thinking of JAFCON Convoy and Nucleon Quest Convoy (black repaints of G1 and PM OP respectively) ? edit: Or even maybe the black repaint of Robot Master Lio Convoy which I forgot about. Man, this edit just proves there are too... read more

Uh.... Scourge wasn't the first black coloured "evil clone" repaint of a character, this guy was. And even then, this black and teal evil clone also beat Scourge by two years. Just wanted to point that out because I'm pedantic.

There weren't any Minicons in G1 either (Micromasters don't count), but that didn't stop Hasbro from releasing several new ones that weren't even G1 homages. We don't even know how Hasbro intends to package it. If it's in Universe as Blitz said then that kinda stops the argu... read more

true bit the idea of an evil clone is an old one and its no longer called just classics its under the Universe title so he can fit in just fine (hell he would be the 2nd universe nemesis prime)

Khan, that's his point. This isn't really a Classics character, as he has no G1 version. Scourge was the first "Nemesis Prime" in these colors, then Nemesis Prime from Armada, Grand Scourge from Superlink, Alt/Binaltech Nemesis Prime, etc. The point is the character is barely olde... read more
