SDCC 2012 - Transformers Generations 'China Import' Toys R Us Exclusives Legions, Scouts, and Deluxes Display Gallery UPDATED
Peter Van - Friday, July 13, 2012

Update: Added tons more images of every figure. Check it out in the gallery

Hasbro stopped many Transformers fans from squirming in their seats to ask about the Asia Exclusive Transformers Generations Legions (Legends), Scouts, and Deluxes by announcing that they will "import" these figures as Toys R Us exclusives.

In addition to these figures, Hasbro will also "import" two Voyagers in the form of Protectobot Hot Spot (Reveal the Shield Grappel) and Samurai Megatron (Revenge of the Fallen Bludgeon). The figures will retain the Chinese and English language packaging and will be out in October.

Look for these figures to hit in October 2012.

See the images of the figure in the gallery and check out all of the announcements at our Hasbro Brand Panel report.

TFP Cliffjumper body with TF WFC Cliffjumper head, just does not look right, so I will skip him I already have Legends Hoist. So that leaves Swerve, Springer, Power Dive, Hot Spot, and all the scouts. Must remember to have $150 with me each time I go to TRU in October LOL

I'll avoid Hotspot, don't want combiner team members that can't combine. Looks like I'll be able to pick up wheelie, and get another shot at the Tomahawk mold, woohoo!

More Generations News
Summer is fast approaching, and there's no better proof of that than early samples of the year's Titan Class figure starting to get out. We've got a quick video tonight showing off some of the basics of Trypticon's dinosaur mode, including a little of the leg articulation and deployable weapons, plus a transformation demo of Full Tilt. We were already expecting Trypticon to start hitting by July, and seeing finished production pieces like this just reinforces that idea. Click through to watch the video, embedded below.
After seeing Nick Roche's cover used for most of the solicitations and early advertisements for Lost Light #6, now we have a look at Jack Lawrence's cover, posted by Lawrence himself! As he describes it, "It's got Megatron on it somewhere." And he sure looks decisively unhappy at that. Will Megatron's vow not to fight be tested again in the coming issue? We'll find out soon enough, but for now keep reading to check out the cover!
Weibo user NOTRAB has posted a photo showing The Last Knight Premier Barricade, and a red and blue redeco of Titans Return Kup we haven't seen before. A long while back now, otherwise credible rumors pointed to the Targetmaster Crosshairs being the reuse of the Kup mold, and we're leaning toward that as the identity of this piece. But there's also the possibility of an Orion Pax, as the pre-Optimus Prime character has been represented on a Kup mold in the past, and the red arms and what would be mostly blue legs does work toward a very Optimus color layout. Keep reading for more details and the photo.
On pre-war Cybertron and present-day Earth, the battle is over. But for how long? And who will be the first one to take up arms? "The Next Day/And The Next" is written by John Barber with art by Priscilla Tramontano. Click here to read the review!
The solicits for this coming August are out, just a little bit early via Forces of Geek, and we have three Transformers-relevant titles to expect. Sadly not present on this list is Till All Are One, but we do have Lost Light #9, Optimus Prime #10, and the second installment of the five part miniseries Rom vs Transformers: Shining Armor. We got the blurbs and some cover image preview, which you can find in the full article below.
