San Diego Comic Con 2012 begins Wednesday with a preview night, and we will be there live all weekend to bring you Transformers- and non-Transformers-related things here at Tformers and
ENewsI.com.
So what can we expect to see this weekend from Hasbro and others in regards to Transformers?
We break it down below.
TRANSFORMERS PRIME
Let us start with the main line. Transformers Prime is still rolling along, so expect the full reveal of upcoming figures and maybe even some 2013 sneak peeks thrown in there. Just like the years past, figures that were previewed at BotCon will be in full view at San Diego Comic Con for all to take pictures. We will break it down by class.
CYBERVERSE LEGION AND COMMANDER
We don’t expect any doodsies in this part of the Transformers Prime line. We may get another look at the Legion Airachnid that was teased at BotCon, but new information is likely to be slim.
DELUXE
Expect Deluxe Wave 5 Rumble in full display. The figure was shown off relatively quickly at BotCon and was not on display on the show floor. Expect both to take place in San Diego.
Wave mate Sergeant Kup was also shown only during the presentation, but
official images were released afterwards. The figure will most likely be displayed in the glass case as well for all viewing pleasure.
Kup will be at San Diego Comic Con

VOYAGER
This is the bread and butter that we are waiting for.
After information from a new
Hasbro Malaysia catalog appeared online showing Thundertron, Ultra Magnus, and Skyquake, expect some sort of acknowledgement that these figures will be coming soon.

Thundertron was announced to be released in wave 3 with Dreadwing, so that should still be in play. Ultra Magnus, meanwhile,
was shown at Tokyo Toy Fair with an unpainted Thundertron, so he should not be far along.

Oh yeah, and Hasbro? This is the time to announce whether or not
you will release Breakdown.
TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS
Hasbro has planned for
40 figures for Generations in 2013 and in addition
sneak peeks from BotCon, here are some others we expect to see.
LEGION
These figures based on the characters within the Transformers Fall of Cybertron game will indeed be shown off and hopefully we get a little demo of the discs that were announced as well, including Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, and Ratbat.

These discs can be launched from the Soundwave and Soundblaster tape decks and will transform upon impact.
DELUXE
While Kickback from the 2013 Wave 1 was on full display, the other wave mates Starscream and Sideswipe were not shown at BotCon 2012, but did show up
in official images later.

Expect our first in-person looks on Thursday of these figures, including Ultra Magnus, who despite being a repaint, gets a new head mold and brand new paint apps, and it is not just a white repaint, either.
G2 Bruticus
UPDATE: Amazon has now put the product page back up. This section is reflective of this new development.
Also, expect Hasbro to announce that Amazon will exclusively carry the Generation 2 (G2) Bruticus redeco set.
A listing for the five-figure set for $59.99 popped up late last week, only to be pulled, and to come back up.

The retailer offering this set as an exclusive makes a lot of sense, since the retailer is
offering a G2 Bruticus skin as a pre-order bonus exclusive for the
Transformers Fall of Cybertron video game, the characters that these Transformers Generations figures are based upon.
The Amazon product page is listed as not available but a solicitation of this particular set that
surfaced in May stated a release date of October 2012.
VOYAGER
Soundwave and Soundblaster (Soundwave repaint) will be the first voyager figures ever in the Generations line and we might get some surprises here, but what they are, we are not sure at this point.

KREON Multi Changers
First seen yesterday, Hasbro has made plans to put the spotlight on their KRE-O building blocks sets. The Micro Changers line are KREON sized figures with robot and alternate modes as well as combiners!
The first two shown are Predacons (that form Predaking) and the Combaticons (Bruticus).
A preview wave of six Micro Changers will hit stores in late summer 2012 for $2.99 with new figures in 2013. The combiner sets will launch spring of next year, with two additional as-of-yet-revealed sets in addition to Predaking and Bruticus for $10.99 each.

WRAP-UP
Of course these are all guesses. What would like to see Hasbro announce at SDCC? Let us know in the comments.
