SDCC 2013 - New Images of Transformers GI Joe Exclusives Jetfire, Blaster, Hound, Bludgeon, Ravage

Thanks to ebay seller viperskingdom who has posted some first looks at the Transformers GI Joe Comic-Con Convention Exclusive action figures that will be offered at SDCC on July 17-21. Check out the crossover toys that feature Jetfire, Blaster, Hound and Ravage paired up with GI Joe counter-parts in the gallery below.

Platinum Edition Trypticon was a remarkable case of Hasbro leading the way on a G1 reissue of a toy TakaraTomy had not themselves touched. After some time had passed and speculation died down, we now have word that Trypticon will be sold in Japan. As a highly limited lottery item. The "USA Edition" Trypticon will be available for 300 lucky individuals chosen at random to purchase for 16,200 Yen this December, after a lottery entry period of about ten days starting this Tuesday. Just in from NYCC 2015 we have a preview of the IDW comics IDW Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers NYCC Preview via Tumblr user Rozzing It. Get a first look at issue #1 mini-series from Nick Roche and Josh Burcham that will be coming out in November 2015. Warning, this comic has a number of spoilers from the on-going Transformers series so read on with caution.
Following the panel report just in from IDW's panel at New York Comic Con! We have news of an interview, All Hail Optimus begins with The Transformers issue #50 by way of Newsarama. In which, we get some new insights on the vision and outlook for the series. Writer John Barber and artist Andrew Griffith talk about the series and some of what's coming our way, such as Optimus Prime taking control of planet Earth!
TAG Hobby has posted images of the Oritoy Hero of Steel Series 01 Optimus Prime! A hefty figure at 23cm (about 9 inches), the nontransforming HoS Prime sports forty points of articulation, is made of ABS plastic and diecast metal, and comes with both Prime's Ion Blaster and a Megatron gun for the figure to use. This very Gundam-like figure is due out on Spring of 2016 for HKD $950 (about $122 USD as of this writing.) Click through to see the gallery!
It was launch day for Transformers Devastation today, and among the many who purchased the game were Radio Free Cybertron's Brian Kilby and diecast. They decided to share some of their first day's play through on RFC's Youtube channel, giving you a chance to look at how the game actually handles. Kilby is playing on PC and takes a while to stop being devastated, while diecast is on PS4 with a solid ~45 minute session to watch.
