Jagex has confirmed today that both Wheeljack and Knock Out, known to fans worldwide as characters from the Transformers TV series, will appear as playable warriors within TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE.
Premature news of their inclusion reached media overnight. While Jagex is willing to confirm their plans to include these, and many other, signature bots, further details of their weapons, equipment, and special attacks will not be forthcoming at this time.
Transformers Colombia has unearthed a range of new Hasbro stock images today. First up they've brought us a batch of photos for Angry Birds Transformers including Telepod toys to load characters in to the mobile game app, and race course sets for non-mobile device play. Jagex, the makers of Transformers Universe, have posted "Under The Hood," the first episode of a series answering fan questions about the upcoming game. Following the Transformers Universe Founders Initiative that just launched now launched. Jagex has posted a FAQ with details on wants fans get when paying for the different packs they are offering. The big surprise is the $449.99 for the Cybernite pack includes a 1--inch figurine (statue)! This is all very well and good, but it seems to be a bit strange that the game that has been promoted at "Free to Play" for years now has a twist that is going to cost more than meets the wallet.
