Shockwave Lab SL-52 Upgrade For LG-EX Dai Atlas - No More Empty Legs!

Via Weibo, we have the reveal of a simple set of add-on parts from Shockwave Lab to address perhaps the leading complaint towards the appearance of Dai Atlas from the LG-EX Big Powered set: The fundamentally empty lower legs. As a result of some of the re-engineering of the Sky Shadow/Overlord mold, some parts had to be removed that originally filled in the volume of the shins. Many buyers were less than impressed with the change once the Big Powered set began to ship.

Shockwave Lab introduces a pair of 3D printed, finished accessory parts that fill-in those spaces in robot mode, and in vehicle mode can be attached to Dai Atlas via 5mm pegs in different locations as extra missile batteries. This set, SL-52, is said to be "coming soon", so we still have to wait a little bit before we can avail ourselves of this option. Shockwave Lab seems to primarily distribute through Ebay directly from China, so keep an eye out for these to begin popping up over there.
