Autobase Aichi has sourced new, non-watermarked copies of stock photos for the first Unite Warriors set featuring the Aerialbots, including new photos of Superion. In addition to replacing Alpha Bravo with a recolored Firefly with new head as Slingshot, all the toys feature various deco changes. Japanese retailers have begin opening preorders, and at the current exchange rate the set is coming in under $100 before shipping, making it surprisingly competitive with the Hasbro releases. Click through to check out all the photos.
Twitter user @gikogakodo has posted a set of side-by-side comparison images showing the TakaraTomy releases of Arcee, Chromia and Windblade with their Hasbro counterparts. In general the deco changes seem to be more lateral moves with each version having merit, but now you can easily see what's what on each version of these toys. A few people are getting hands on these early, but the trio is officially due for release in Japan on February 14th. Keep reading to see all three photos.
Twitter user kinoko51 has managed to get the TakaraTomy Valentine's Day Legends releases a couple days early! There are package shots for all three, a closeup on the very pinupish package illustrations, a comparison of Hasbro and TakaraTomy Chromia, and a few pages from the pack-in comic, including one panel showing a group of female Autobots and Maximals ranging from Elita-1 to Prime Arcee. And there's a couple other shots in there as well. Keep reading to see!
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, Hisashi Yuki has posted new images of the trio of Legends figures due to be released that day. LG-10 Arcee and LG-11 Chromia seem to be pretty good with (robot) animals, but LG-12 Windblade is... I don't even know what Windblade's doing. Keep reading to see for yourself!
Hisashi Yuki is keeping the Valentine's Day hype going with a new image of Windblade as well as a group shot of all three of the 2/14 releases in-package! Windblade sports a subtly different color layout than the domestic Generations release here, one that is more in line with the Sarah Stone version of the character as seen in the comics. Keep reading to see!
