Book your flights now! November 29th and 30th is the "Transformers Carnival" event at Japanese ToysRUs stores. While that sounds like it could be really neat, the reality is that spending 3000 Yen at one of those stores on one of those days will net you one of six reissues of previous promotional figures. In other words, Takara has partnered with TRU Japan to be rid of unclaimed promo stock. Keep reading for all the details!
Haven't decided which version of Brainstorm you'll get? TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki has graciously taken a break from posting images of MP-24 Star Saber to give us a look at Legends LG09 Brainstorm side-by-side with his Generations Voyager counterpart! As is common these days, Legends Brainstorm sports a good bit more paint. Keep reading to see for yourself.
Hisashi Yuki has posted more images to Twitter! First up from the TakaraTomy designer is a photo of the Legends version of Whirl both in and out of package. LG05 uses two shades of blue that fall on either side of the US Generations Voyager figure in terms of saturation. Secondly, and this comes as a complete surprise, Yuki has tweeted an image of the upcoming Masterpiece Star Saber figure. As rare as photos of this hotly-anticipated figure are, the opportunity to see a photo of it on Yuki's Twitter is, frankly, unprecedented. Keep reading past the sarcasm to see the mirrored images!
TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki took a break from his busy schedule of tweeting Masterpiece Star Saber pics to also give us a look at Legends Roadbuster in-package! The TakaraTomy equivalent of Generations Voyager Roadbuster, there are some subtle color layout differences on this edition of the toy as well as a slightly more vivid set of base plastic colors. Is that worth the import prices to you? Keep reading to get a better look and make up your mind!
Ebay seller lena81822 once again has hands on an upcoming release item. This time it's Roadbuster's Japanese version, which along with the Legends Series Tankor and Whirl is set to be released near the end of this month. Roadbuster's major changes versus the Hasbro release seem to be all-orange thighs, and loss of one painted surface on either shin in addition to a factory applied Autobot insignia. Keep reading to see all the photos!
