When we weren't looking, Hisashi Yuki got back to posting pics on Twitter! This time he's got three of Legends Jetfire, who looks significantly less shiny than his US counterpart. In a good way! Next up is another shot of Sky-Byte- and interestingly though his package says Gelshark in Japanese it also says Sky-Byte in English! Lastly we have a new shot of the Valentine Trio, the three women who TakaraTomy has chosen to release on Valentine's Day 2015. Keep reading to see the photos!
Hisahi Yuki is back giving teases of upcoming toys. For this weekend, he's got a vehicle mode shot of the Japanese version of Generations Chromia. The heavy retool of Transformers Prime Arcee is seen here with the Japanese-exclusive Arms Micron edition of TF: Prime Ironhide as a stand-in for G1, surely as a reference to the relationship implied in the G1 cartoon. We can definitely expect more photos of the female warrior trio that's planned for sale in February, so keep watching for that. Meanwhile click through and check out the full size image!
Hisashi Yuki of TakaraTomy has now provided us with a new photo of each of February's Legends releases with an image of LG10 Arcee next to the Spike in Exo-Suit figure that came with MP-21 Bumblebee. Possibly it's meant to be standing in for Daniel here, but at the level of detail on Spike's face, you can go either way with it. Like her wavemates Chromia and Windblade, Arcee is due for release in Japan on Valentine's Day 2015. Keep reading for the photo!
TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki has tweeted a new photo of the Japanese edition of Windblade. Sporting considerable deco changes versus the Hasbro release, it's a much better match for the appearance of the character in her self-titled miniseries as drawn by Sarah Stone. This picture gives us a good look at the deco on the face, which for many is a key selling point for this version of the toy. Click through and see the picture at larger size and stay tuned for more TFYuki upcoming product teases!
Something seems to be wrong with TakaraTomy toy designer Hisashi Yuki - he hasn't posted a new image of Masterpiece Star Saber in at least a week. But the good news is that this means he's turning his attention to some other upcoming toys- case in point, we've got a new photo of the Legends version of Chromia! An extensive retooling of Prime Robots In Disguise Arcee, Chromia sports a lot of new parts and accessories- and unlike the Generations Deluxe version due out any day now, the Legends version has a more G1-accurate and lavender-intensive deco. Keep reading to see!
