It seems that the Toys R Us Japan exclusive Transformers Prime Battle Shield Optimus Prime was just the beginning, with Takara offering an AM-21 Arms Master Optimus Prime in October.

The Optimus Prime figure appears to be a brand-new mold and coupled with three brand-new Arms Micron figures that form a sword.

It also appears that one of the Microns can transform into a shape that is reminiscent to the Matrix and can be attached to Prime's chest, or carried behind the truck cab in vehicle mode.

We will not have to wait too long for more information, as the figure is set for a September 2012 release for 8,400 Yen (~$106 USD).
