Takara Tomy Launch Official BeCool Site - Transformers BotShots Coming to Japan December 28th

Takara Tomy have launched their official BeCool Site! The re-branded BotShots series will be coming to Japan December 28, 2012. Get a look at all the figures they have lined up for the first waves along with some preview videos. Show are 12 news action figures that don't appear to be listed under the Transformers brand. As always, Takara have added a more fun these toys with special stickers fans can add to the figures for customizing. Get a look at the new site for more details at takaratomy.co.jp.

Hayato Sakamoto contributed his talents to issue #39 of More Than Meets The Eye, in the process rolling numerous Japanese-fiction-originated character in to the issue's crowds. Among them was a slightly different looking version of Liokaiser. Today, Sakamoto has posted the original concept art that was used as the model for the comic appearance, which differs from the final appearance of the toy and Victory series model. It looks like QTransformers must've done pretty well, because thanks to Autobase Aichi we know the Decks Tokyo Beach store is holding a QTF event where you can have a card stamped with the faces of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Lockdown, and G1 Prime/Convoy to receive a special gift. Also on display are QTransformers phone straps, buttons featuring lines from the animation, and even a "life-size" model of QTransformers Bumblebee! Keep reading to see the event!

Alfes2010 of the Higekuma Toy Blog has posted an extensive gallery of QTransformers G1 Optimus Prime & Lamborghini Veneno Megatron. Both look pretty nice for what they are, actually! Keep reading to see selected images!
Apparently QTransformers has been a hit for TakaraTomy, as figures 23 through 31 have just been announced along with a couple of special edition sets featuring guest characters. QT23-25 are new versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Lockdown based on the QTransformers animation. Following that are Shockwave, Soundwave, Cliffjumper and a trio of Seekers. Lastly we've got Hello Kitty and a set of Evangelions, who all become G1 Optimus Prime-style trucks. Keep reading for photos!
