Takara are really scraping the barrel on this one. Why?
1/ They already released Robot Masters Primal and Megs.
2/ They already re-released Primal and Megs as a recoloured, remoulded BW "10/20th Anniversary" boxed set.
3/ The original Japanese released BW figs had a slightly better paint-job than their European or US counterparts. Dinobot's face in particular being more show accurate.
4/ There are still many Beast Wars Anniversary sets floating around shops in Japan, not to mention that Beast Machines toys failed utterly in Japan.
5/ Japanese kids wont be interested in a re-released BW show.
So, either from a collectors' or kids' point of view, this isnt going to do very well.
It seems only Binaltech Dark Convoy has been the only recent Tf of any merit since Takara and Tomy joined togther.
Tis' a bleak time indeed for us Japan Tf collectors....sigh
