By bwbm on Thursday, July 17, 2008 @ 08:27:31 AM

Thanks to two new auctions from "menasor1979," we have a look at the Target store exclusive Transformers Universe Comic two-packs announced at BotCon 2008.

The packs are Autobot Roadbuster and Dirge, and Springer and Ratbat.

Each two-pack comes with a comic that inspired the match-up.

Take a look below.

With some minor modding of the faces of Springer and Roadbuster, they will look great! Ill also repaint a few details so Springer looks like the fantastic Japanese kit-bash of springer based upon the same mold. Roadbuster will get a set of Reprolabel G1 Roadbuster stickers so I can add all the... read more

Evac was a great figure, possibly one of my 10 favourite TFs of all time ... the only downside was his paint job which I hated. Add some G1 Springer goodness and this figure looks amazing. Ratbat looks cool as well.

But.... it's Roadbuster! This Guy! What other colors could he be, and still bask in all his GeeOne beauty? Granted, the colors don't go together so well (they never did) - but the mold is fantastic for him. I'm getting these.

I want them all. I just want to know when they are coming out. I have the Toys r us exclusive galaxy force Starscream that is painted like Thrust so Dirge will look cool next to it and I do have Galaxy force Starscream as well. IMO this should have been the mold for the cybertronian mode in war with... read more

Yes! Dirge is my favorite 'con and there was no way that someone on my budget (you know...the nonexistent one) could afford the botcon one. Definite buy. However, does anyone else find it strange that the only way that the US has only gotten the Cybertron/Galaxy Force voyager SS mold through... read more

I'll pass on ALL these guys, so more for everyone else...and just when I'd started getting excited about how great this line is looking so far...then, REPAINTS of A/E/C bots... Honestly, Springer is the only one that looks remotely decent.
