The Transformers Collectors' Club (TCC) has announced that Nightbeat will fill the shoes of the second club exclusive for next year along with the Seacons. Both exclusives are slated for a Spring 2008 release. TCC says images of the newly-announced exclusive will be available in the next club magazine.

We haven't had a good Nightbeat homage yet, just some random name-slaps from Hasbro. I wonder what figure they will be repainting to make Nightbeat? And if they will make a Headmaster partner for him?

He is going to be a retooled Energon Hot Shot from the looks of it. Shame as I think that Nightbeat deserved a stronger mold (Cybertron Hot Shot perhaps) as he was my first Transformer.
I may just save up for this as he is going to be expensive.
