TCC Magazine MTMTE Profile Sneak Peak! - Hero Optimus Prime in the Multiverse

By Jack on Friday, January 11, 2013

Find out more about "Hero" Optimus Prime and his adventures in the multiverse. The Transformers Club have announced the "More Than Meets the Eye" profile and the new upcoming Beast Wars story, available exclusively through the Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine! Read about the TCC Magazine MTMTE Profile Sneak Peak! - Hero Optimus Prime below.
Optimus Prime! In his home universe, "Hero" Optimus Prime was the sworn protector of Earth and its super energy source, forestonite. Along with fellow Autobots Electro and Volt, and the human boy Junpei, the Autobot Leader was able to repel Megatron and the Decepticons' attack. Although Megatron promised he would return to conquer not just the Earth but the entirety of the Milky Way galaxy, Prime stood vigilant, ready to thwart him at every turn!

Following the theft of the Rarefied Energon from the Classics Universe, chaos spread and soon found its way across the multiverse, threatening existence everywhere. Optimus Prime was selected by certain members of TransTech to leave his universe and travel to Axiom Nexus to be inducted into the newly formed group known as The Convoy - a collective of high-ranking Autobots from across the multiverse.

Doesn't have too. It's based on an unreleased repaint of the Hero OP toy. At most, it could be substituted if one doesn't have a Hero OP. At most and substituted implying some bit of imagination used being the keyword here.

That new version is blue, based on an unreleased recolor of this mold. Doesn't look anything like this version.

At most, you could substitute the Combat Hero version in this years gift set if you don't have the toy. Though, would be rad to see it in action.

No. This character appears in his normal G2 Hero body in the club comic. The Bio is a reference to an obscure G2 manga he was in.

I wouldn't mind a new toy of him, though my old one is fine as is.

Just in is news of the latest guest to be joining the Transformers BotCon 2015 line-up, who is none other than John Moschitta, Jr. Fan will able to meet the character voice of the G1 version of Autobot Blurr as well as the voice of Transformers: Animated Blurr character. People across the world know John as the fastest talking man alive, who has not been at BotCon since 2000! Read on for the full details.
Fun Publications has just posted official images showing off the fourth of five boxset toys for this year's Botcon. As basically everyone had figured out already, "The Boss" is a Dark of The Moon inspired Megatron using the Arms Micron Silas Breakdown mold. While the video shows a new head sculpt fusing movie and G1 styles, and three included Arms Microns, no mention is made of the panel with Silas himself sculpted in to it. Read on to see the official images below.
Lost-Zzl has again produced high-quality photos of an upcoming exclusive figure. Taking a break from Subscription Service offerings, today it's photos of Packrat, the updated form of a classic Botcon exclusive that was the first official reveal from Fun Publications from this year's set. Looking no less blue than it did before, we get a better look at the figure's deco in this shoot, so click through and check it out!
Through the Botcon Twitter account we have a much clearer look at the recolor of Generations Chop Shop that will in some capacity be part of one of the exclusives available at Botcon this summer, which was originally publicly revealed on the recent episode of the TFYLP podcast. Wide speculation has this being in some way related to the classic Botcon character Vice Grip, though the deco itself references back to the pre-Transformers origins of the Deluxe Insecticon molds just as much. Until we find out for sure, you can check out the image by hitting the title link!
Pete Sinclair was a guest on tonight's live recording of the TFYLP podcast, and during the course of the episode the hosts got the chance to pick one of two possible reveals to be made. Their choice resulted in the unveiling of what is part of something connected to the main box set, but not a part of it itself, a blue and silver recolor of Generations Chop Shop, originally the partner figure for Legends-class Megatron. Superfan Monzo snapped a screenshot of it, which we've mirrored. Click through to check that out while we wait for the next boxset reveal this Tuesday!
