TCC Magazine MTMTE Profile Sneak Peak! - Hero Optimus Prime in the Multiverse
Jack - Friday, January 11, 2013

Find out more about "Hero" Optimus Prime and his adventures in the multiverse. The Transformers Club have announced the "More Than Meets the Eye" profile and the new upcoming Beast Wars story, available exclusively through the Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine! Read about the TCC Magazine MTMTE Profile Sneak Peak! - Hero Optimus Prime below.
Optimus Prime! In his home universe, "Hero" Optimus Prime was the sworn protector of Earth and its super energy source, forestonite. Along with fellow Autobots Electro and Volt, and the human boy Junpei, the Autobot Leader was able to repel Megatron and the Decepticons' attack. Although Megatron promised he would return to conquer not just the Earth but the entirety of the Milky Way galaxy, Prime stood vigilant, ready to thwart him at every turn!

Following the theft of the Rarefied Energon from the Classics Universe, chaos spread and soon found its way across the multiverse, threatening existence everywhere. Optimus Prime was selected by certain members of TransTech to leave his universe and travel to Axiom Nexus to be inducted into the newly formed group known as The Convoy - a collective of high-ranking Autobots from across the multiverse.

Doesn't have too. It's based on an unreleased repaint of the Hero OP toy. At most, it could be substituted if one doesn't have a Hero OP. At most and substituted implying some bit of imagination used being the keyword here.

That new version is blue, based on an unreleased recolor of this mold. Doesn't look anything like this version.

At most, you could substitute the Combat Hero version in this years gift set if you don't have the toy. Though, would be rad to see it in action.

No. This character appears in his normal G2 Hero body in the club comic. The Bio is a reference to an obscure G2 manga he was in.

I wouldn't mind a new toy of him, though my old one is fine as is.

The TFCC FSS 4.0 is rolling on, with Grabuge, otherwise known as Ruckus! This figure is a fantastic repaint of Offroad, and the tightest version of the mold I've handled. If you're buying this on the secondary market it's a solid figure on its own.
What feels like an extremely short time after Needlenose, the first TFSS 4 figure shipped, today the first copies of the second figure are hitting subscriber mailboxes! Thanks to SeiberBirdR we now know the identity of the currently shipping figure is Grabuge - the trademark-rename of Ruckus. And we have some early photos to show what the final product looks like. We'll bring you more on this figure as it becomes available, and for now keep reading to see these first pictures, including a look at the bio!
Not a Transformers Collectors Club member, but have been drooling over the Transformers Subscription Figure 5.0 toys? If so, today is your lucky day as our site sponsor BigBadToyStore is serving up what you are hungy for without the hassle of signing up for the Transformers Collectors Club. BBTS have just placed all six of the 5.0 figures on pre-order slated to arrive in 2017, including: Lifeline With Quickslinger, Counterpunch, Fractyl With Scorponok, Megatron With Space Warp, Optimus Prime With Hi-Q, and Toxitron.
Here we are with another FSS, this time with a combiner theme. Needlenose is a double Targetmaster and a great update to the late G1 figure. The paint details pop, I especially like the metallic blue used for the nosecone. There is some tolerance issues with the grips on the Targetmasters, but nothing too bad. I'm excited to see how the other figures turn out.
The Transformers Collectors Club Facebook page has updated to announce that the order period for the fifth and final Transformers Figure Subscription Service is now underway. They note that currently only active Club members may order a subscription, but that a solution to allow any past member to order will be worked on over the coming few weeks. The order period is set to conclude on May 26th, the last Thursday in May. Along with the announcement are a set of new mockup images for the six revealed figures and a promise that secret number 7 has a head sculpt unused in the US. Keep reading to see the pictures!
