Could we see a "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" television spot during the next Academy Awards?

The previous ban of movie television spots airing during the Academy Awards has been lifted by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences board of governors and Variety suggests it's a good as time as any to premiere one.

This makes sense, since there have been rumors of a teaser trailer coming out this November.

The Academy has set some ground rules such as the spot must be brand-new.

Distributors will most likely push sure hit films like "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," since a 30-second spot during the Oscars three hour time slot costs $1.8 million.
