TFC Toys Project Uranus Reveal New Image of First Team Figure
Jack Q - Thursday, May 17, 2012

Following on Devastator, it is safe to say that it's only a matter of time before all the great Transformers gestalts will get the 3P make-over. TFC Toys moves ahead to other combiners with a new teaser image just posted for their upcoming homage. The name, Project Uranus, is not very descriptive, but it does not take but a second to see this is their homage to the Generation 1 Superion. The image of the silhouetted figures revealed at Botcon has been updated with a blurry image of what we think is their version of Fireflight.

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

For scale referrence imagine MP Starscream standing on FP Bruticus shoulders... Yup everyone wants that scale of Transformers.... Also, Devastator and other combiners were shown as being the same height as Omega Supreme in comics and animation...

They arent meant to fit in with those Energon Supremes. Theyre meant to fit in with the CHUUD lines. But who knows maybe if your lucky they'll make super supreme+++ Omega and Metroplex. I wouldn't be opposed to that, just the price it would cost

Actually no it doesn't, my shelves are set up by toy line, My Cybertron shelf is perfect and only missing two Transformers Buzzsaw and Swerve. Yet there is nothing wrong with the display with Primus and Metroplex in the back. My Supreme Starscream is on the shelf below them and works where he i... read more

The main problem with this. is the sheer fact is their are no new age 2002 thru 2012 current/future TF city/base bots toys that are above the Supreme toy size scale. to have 3rd party combiners bigger or same scale as supreme sized city/base bots like energon omega supreme & cybertron metroplex... read more

Considering that most of the G1 Combiners were smaller then PM Optimus Prime, the Deluxe scout ration is insufficient. As is the scale used by the Energon combiners also insufficent when most Ultra are taller then they are. A Voyager with 4 deluxe or even better an Ultra with 4 Voyagers would work... read more

The energon 5-in-1 combiners did the 1980's scramble city homage toys the best proper scale. their is nothing wrong with wanting this energon combiners scale repeated. deluxe for the core leaders is a decent size & not small by any means. the limbs bots in G-1 were always small,So basic siz... read more

You asking for proper size? Then you should be asking for bigger versions of the figures instead of the same G1 sinzes that were anything But properly sized. These newer homages and upgrades from both Hasbro, Takara, and the 3RD Party companies are doing what we all want and to ask for 3 inch tall ... read more

Master Builder MB-03 Feilong stands 8.90 inches (22.60) tall and transforms from robot to two headed dragon. Feilong is made of ABS plastics and metal alloy and features a high level of pose-ability. Feilong comes armed with a blaster.
Toy designer Shu Kusuhara has used Twitter to preview his new garage kits of Metalhawk, Starscream, and Holi - the Transformers Victory equivalent of Micromaster Rescue Patrol member Stakeout! All are color-molded, fully transforming model kits, likely produced as TakaraTomy-sanctioned Third Party figures on a short-term license for WonderFes. Holi is both in scale with Titans Return Legends figures and seats a Titan Master! Keep reading to see.
Relative newcomer FansHobby has shared via their Facebook page a new image of a color testshot of Feilong, their figure based on the Monsterbot Doublecross. Apparently as a result of examining the testshot, FansHobby have decided on some revisions to the figure, which they've revealed with new product renders. Mainly the changes are to fill in gaps and spaces that weren't satisfactory, but one of the changes includes adding some length to the wings, increasing the overall span by quite a bit. You can see all of the images mirrored below!
Via Weibo we've got a new look at Apocalypse from Planet X. Based on the High Moon Studios take on Trypticon from the War For Fall Of Cybertron game series, Apocalypse has been notable for being an early attempt at third party groups selling larger, non-combiner-type items as two or more purchases. These few new photos showing what is probably a production sample only depict the robot mode for now. But you wouldn't be alone if you had some trouble recognizing this as Trypticon even in this state. We've mirrored the images, click through to have a look!
MMC's figure inspired by the design of Rodimus as seen in IDW's More Than Meets The Eye is now up for preorder, with an expected ship date in June. Several new photos of the figure showing both modes in full color, with and without its bow accessory have also been revealed. Reformatted R-27 Calidus stands just over 7 inches (18cm) tall and transforms into a racing car. Calidus's energy bow can be mounted to his backpack in robot mode, and it forms the car's fender in racing car mode. This item is priced at $84.99 and is available for preorder now at bigbadtoystore.com and .tfsource.com
