Yeah, but Spotlight Shockeave was referencing Beast Wars. So these are not SG Autobots, they are Classicverse Autobots trapped on primitive SG earth. Magnus and Grimlock are from the Games or Deception comic.

It's been... what, maybe a couple weeks now? Which means it's time for another Japanese toy show. Today, courtesy of TAG Hobby, we've got new shots of Kotobukiya's upcoming D-Style model kits of Starscream, Skywarp, & Thundercracker, and they look pretty good! Multiple outlets have reported that Herb Trimpe, the first artist to draw Wolverine and GI Joe, has passed away suddenly at the age of 75. As an artist for Marvel Comics, Trimpe drew a handful of issues of the G1 Transformers comic, as well as GI Joe vs The Transformers and the covers to the Transformers Universe miniseries. By all accounts he was a much loved and respected comics artist and human being, and will be missed. More details on Mr. Trimpe's career after the jump.
At East Coast Comic Con this past weekend, Marvel Comics inker Dave Hunt had a selection of his work on display, and included among these pages are parts of an unpublished adaptation of the season three cartoon episode Dweller In The Depths. Reportedly issues like this were prepared as backups in case the normal monthly storylines weren't turned in on time. Only a few pages survive to today, but Roboplastic Apocalypse was able to take photos, which were posted to their Facebook page. Click through, and have a look!
Optimus Prime! Transforms from tractor trailer to robot with headquarters and back. That’s the whole point of Transformers, figures that can be converted between modes. While the process of going between configurations is an important one, we can often attach more importance to factors such as appearance, scale, accessories, aesthetics, posability and the like. But this week, I will be listing my personal top 5 transformation sequences across all the official Hasbro and Takara Tomy Transformers toys that I have had the pleasure of experiencing.
