Transformers The Last Knight Important Characters Revealed In Possible Credits List?

It's been found that IMDB has been updated with lengthy cast credits for The Last Knight. While the list still omits a few characters we know will be appearing in the movie (mainly voice over roles that haven't necessarily been cast yet), it does offer some interesting potential insights. We caution going in that this will both contain possible spoilers, but also may not be entirely accurate, as IMDB is not particularly restricted in who can contribute information to it. One point in particular seems like it might be right, though. Keep reading for more. We'll link to the credits page below so you can take a look at the full list if you like, but here are some highlights:

•  Frank Welker listed as the voice of Megatron
•  John Turturro as Agent Simmons
•  Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce

There are also credits for not just King Arthur, but Lancelot, unspecified English Knights, Saxons, and more among a range of entries suggestive of various time periods.

But the big drop is the presence of Gemma Chan, a British actress credited as "Quintessa". As if the name was not already enough to make the connection, Gemma Chan's voice in TV and interview clips sounds rather like the "Maker" who speaks to Optimus Prime in the Super Bowl trailer. While not conclusive, this helps root Quintessa as being one of the more probable of the unconfirmed parts of the cast listing. So it seems we have the name of The Maker, who is in at least some sense a movie adaptation of the Quintessons. Who didn't see that coming when Optimus took off to find his creators at the end of Age of Extinction?

Again, none of the new info is confirmed as yet, but there are signs pointing to its credibility. Keep watching for further updates on this!
