Transformers: The Last Knight - Optimus Prime's Trailer Sighted In Detroit

The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog has posted an image showing Optimus Prime's trailer from Transformers: Dark of the Moon sitting with some other trailers in Detroit. While Prime was last seen in space, it's known that The Last Knight begins shooting in Detroit in early June. So odds are good that the Autobot leader will likely be returning to our planet to kill again in Transformers 5. Keep reading for more info!

Thanks to J1000 we have this image of the Optimus Prime Dark of the Moon trailer on the Michigan Motion Picture Studio on Tuesday. Based on the recent picture of Prime (and that he is flew off to space) some visual changes have been made to the character so the trailer may not necessarily be used in the film (for instance it could be used for promotional or merchandise images) but its the first solid sign that Transformers 5 production has arrived in Detroit for its mid-June start date.

Transformers: The Last Knight is set for release June 23rd of next year. Michael Bay is once again directing from a script by Akiva Goldsman.
