Third Party TFCat Sleeping Kitty Optimus Prime Toys Revealed

By Jack on Tuesday, November 06, 2012

Asian culture has some interesting memes that seem to make their way around from one popular culture property to another. Transformers have been infected by a number of these trends such the gashapon / capsule toys, super deformed style figures, and now we have the sleeping kitty meme that has captured Optimus Prime as a cute little feline napping on a pillow. The images posted to Meteor Operations don't include a company name or release information at this time. Enjoy the images till we know more. UPDATE: Seems these toys are from the same third party group TFCat who made the TFCat plush toy that I have added a pic to gallery for.

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

SDCC 2015 Transformers Convention News Transformers Devastator Week!
More Generation 1 Japan News
This week, it seems like everyone on the QTransformers II animation team had the week off except for the poor background designer, as the animation is even more limited than usual. We assume the writers also took off and let a Capcom PR writer take over, as this episode seems to be Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Lockdown, and Tracks sitting around talking about how much they like the Sengoku Basara series of video games. Keep reading and you'll see what we mean!
Thanks to Snakas who has shared over 70 images from the Summer Wonderfest 2015 going on in Japan this weekend. The latest round of images gives us our best look at the Diaclone Reboot figures yet with a new video. We also get to see some new angles on Masterpiece Ironhide, Tracks and Road Rage. Additonally, Blackarachnia and many of the Takara Legends Series toys along with Prime 1 Studio, Q Evangelion, Transformers Gokin, and more Images
It's Monday, so that means it's time for another episode of QTransformers II! This week, the Decepticons seemingly lament not being as popular as the Autobots, and an amusingly deep-voiced Starscream has some ideas about that. Click through to watch!
It's that time again! The new episode of QTransformers II is up, and this week's episode seems to be about how to tell the G1 Autobots From the G1 Decepticons. Poor Lockdown wasn't there, so Optimus and Bumblebee are trying their best to explain it to him. (As always, in Japanese.) Click through to see!
After seeing design images for Paper Rabbit Rope (pronounced "Ropeh") and his senior, Akira Sempai, TakaraTomy has today Tweeted official pictures of the figures themselves. So if you want a couple of cartoon animals from a series normally only seen in short segments in Japanese movie theaters as toys that turn into trucks, today's your day! Keep reading to see the photos.
