Titanium RID Optimus Prime & Starscream In-Package
By Primus on Thursday, November 30, 2006 @ 01:34:02 PM

Just in are new images of the 6-Inch Titanium RID Optimus Prime & War Within Starscream and out of the package. I have been looking forward to seeing more of the the Robots In Disguise 6-Inch series Prime and here it is! Starscream looks good two as the repaint of the War Within Thundercracker action figures. See them both in the image gallery.

Titanium RiD Prime.....? Doesn't do the trick for me, really.
I could understand an actual die cast RiD Prime, but not a remold that's not accurate gimmick-wise, transformation-wise or looks-wise. |

It doesn't look anything like WW Starscream and the transformation is all wrong. Each fo the three Seekers in War Within had a unique transformation specific to that individual character. No two were alike. In the case of Starscream, his forearms were still visible in jet mode, and his lower torso rotated around alowing his legs to fold up underneath him. This is not Starscream. |

Thought it was bogus that they only gave the Voyager Starscream with the VP 2/pk. They missed a money maker there. If they did a black Skywarp repaint on that instead of using that LAME Thundercracker mold, they would have been rolling in money.
Meh, it proves a point I stated some time back. Hasblo only redoes crappy molds except on rare exceptions. This sadly is not one of those times. |
